Prediction: if OpenAI IPOs with a $1Tn market cap, that will absolutely be the high water mark of the AI bubble and will trigger the subsequent collapse (they're losing $11.5Bn a quarter and have revenue around $20Bn/year). Such an IPO would allow the main investors to cash out. A valuation of 50x annual revenue is just bonkers.

So, I get to build some ZFS file servers for $dayJorb. These will be hosting VM images. Does anyone have any thoughts on disk types and layout? I'm hoping for about 30 TB of usable space each. The last time I got to build this big, we did it with spinning rust because we were cost constrained. I am being lead to believe I have significant funding this time.

I was asked the other day why I reply on my family so much and the answer is Who else would I reply on.
Other blind people? fair weather friends?
This might sound a bit harsh but the one thing I've seen in the western culture is that most people have a bad relationship with their families and while I don't think being very close to your family is all well and good and it does have it's downsides, most families that reply on each other will never leave each other in the cold.
I live far from my parents but yet I know I can make mistakes.
I know that I always have a home to go back to should something happen and My family is where they are because of hard work and sticking together even when times were hard.
So all this hate just comes from people who wish they had the same thing.
And at the end of the day, all I can do is have empathy for them.
If you take a look at the people who are saying that she depends on her family to much are the same people that wish they were doing better in life.
Correct me if I'm wrong here but for someone who according to people, depends on her family to much, she's doing pretty well for herself.
She's also just moved in with her boyfriend so I don't know about you but if depending on my family a little more empowers me to have a better life such as that, I think we can all use this as food for thought.
