The Night of the Long Knives and Oath of Allegiance meant the army swore an oath of "unconditional obedience" to Hitler. The people could not do anything as it just crept up on them.
The US is far larger than Germany, and far more diverse. And there are far more Anarchists in the US than in Germany. The Trumpists may still kill many million people for their project of turning the USA into the American Reich, but they will never gain full control in the way the Nazis did in the 1930s.
