How our evening is going. This is me and another of our mods who has some free time refreshing the remote active accounts every few minutes checking for new scammers. All of these blocked accounts are spam/scam accounts registering on open sign up instances. Look at the time stamps :/

We're pro-actively doing this hoping to catch the scammers before they DM any of our users - otherwise what usually happens is we get a report from someone once they've already received a scam DM (and please DO report them if you get any!).

I think they've all been from mastodon.social so far ...
