Today's protest round up is an epic one ...

Starting in Santiago de Compostela, where thousands are in the street today to protest a giant cellulose factory which will pollute their local environment and use millions of gallons of water.

Todayโ€™s strike by workers at the Pasargad Alloy Steel Complex in Fars, part of a broader wave of labor unrest this year, stretching from South Pars, where 5,000 workers took to the streets, to refineries in southern Iran protesting against the regimeโ€™s exploitative contractors.

Workers are protesting wage discrimination, severe economic hardship, provision of safety equipment and the failure to pay long-overdue benefits.

That's it for now, but I'm going to wax lyrical for a minute.

Something *huge* is happening around the world this year.

The genocide in Palestine and the global resistance to it has removed the mask of managed democracy, and try as they might, they cannot reverse it.

People across the globe are figuring out that capitalism will kill us, and they're doing something about it.
