med-mastodon.com - I contacted their host and offered to help cover costs for at least a month to allow people to migrate out.
The host replied to me 6 hours ago and said the instance admin:
- cancelled service
- is the only one who can restore
- has not agreed to offers
If you are impacted I highly recommend joining an instance listed on joinmastodon.org/servers as they are all bound to the server covenant ("give users at least 3 months of advance warning in case of shutting down")

Been in touch with Hugo Gameiro and Nick is willing to transfer the med-mastodon server to someone else. I think if we can get that server up for ONE MONTH, users can migrate to another instance. No word yet on what that might cost. #MedMastodon

@ndrwy@zeroes.ca any possibility for a new medicine focused server? I would be honoured to provide one for the medical (and allied health) community.

Sorry about #MedMastodon server going away. I posted about it on Sunday and not long after that saw posts about it being gone for good.
I didn't have a personal account on that server but our ME/CFS forum did (Science for ME)
Now I'm trying to figure out which server to use for our group's new account.
