The most enshittification-proof way to get the Enshittification audiobook, ebook and hardcover is to pre-order them on my Kickstarter! Help me do an end-run around the Amazon/Audible audiobook monopoly and disenshittify your audiobook experience in the process:

When I try to support it I get into an infinite loop of "Making sure you're human", check the box, then back to "Making sure you're human." I'm using LibreWolf; guess I'll try something else just long enough to get to the page I need.

this one is dripping with levels of frustration that i haven't seen in years on the newsletter. genuinely crushing news, but thank you for your work regardless

I find it interesting, in a sad way, that the judges name, Mehta, is a homonym for mettā. There's nothing loving or kind about that ruling.

I shared the meat of this post with one of my young adult sons last night. He froze when I told him the punchline of the judgment, then came to the same conclusion I did: "the judge must have been bribed." Guess we can thank this administration for clearing the scales off of everyone's eyes so early on--I wasn't close to this cynical until I was in my late thirties.
