I'm very glad I didn't buy the Framework 12 a few days ago.

I'd rather buy a laptop that comes in a vegan sleeve from a company led by a trans person than buy fashtech.

Do you have any plans for something comparable to the Framework 16, which is, modularity, and an upgradable CPU, and a modular GPU? I'd love to contribute financially to that if it would happen!
in reply to AlexTECPlayz

@alextecplayz not concrete yet but i've been toying with the thought as a bigger laptop makes some technical things easier

See, I would agree, if the laptop wasn't financially impossible to import into my country because of fluctuating and increasing duty fees. Until that gets resolved, I cannot recommend your products as mere build-to-order replacements
in reply to DaMu

@DaMu which country? if US, we're working on getting the rk3588 laptop models to crowd supply/mouser (US based, very large electronics distributor) as we speak

@lucie lukas "minute" hartmann Today I have used MNT as a counterpoint to explain what Framework is to someone who heard about the controversy but didn't know what it was.

and it worked perfectly! I hadn't heard of your brand until today, and now I'm desperate to get my hands on an MNT Reform Next to replace my old, dying MacBook 8.1
