For me, it’s still a manual step: I have to press the Translate button to view the translated text. Same as in Mona 6.
I presumed “automatic“ meant Mona 7 would automatically translate posts as I scroll through them in my feed.

Do you have an option to use Auto Translate with DeepL or ChatGPT?

Quick question: even on a wide iPad Pro screen with two Mona windows open, the tab bar always switches from side to bottom AND only shows four icons on the left and - detached from that - the „more“ icon on the right. Any plans to allow us more than four. My screen could host 6 or 8 easily…? See screenshot of two Mona tab bars in landscape mode.

I got so scared when I opened it the first time early in the morning; it looked so different/weird…
And then I remembered that the preorder is only for the free version, so I still had to buy the “one-time” Mona Ultra upgrade for previous Pro Max users to unlock all my customizations 😅
(That was some good advertising for Ultra there 🤣)

i just bought Mona 6 a few months ago, now I need to pay another 19.99 for Mona 7 seems a bit hard to accept.

If I am not mistaken, I am now not able to do a settings backup without subscribing to Mona Ultra.

in reply to Mona app • • •Upgraded and immediately paid for the Ultra bump. The only app that spends more time open on my phone is email, and the extensive customization means I can make it work for me the way I want.
Everyone has different tastes, but I’ve tried the rest and always came back to Mona - and Spring before that.
I do want to second the “more tabs” request though. Could we have the option to move “All/Mentions” back to just above the tab bar like in 6. On a big phone the top is a finger stretch.

Mac App Store shows a cloud symbol. When I tap on it, it changes into a circle and then reverts to the cloud symbol again…
