They shut down the internet so, as always, people can be killed in media silence.

I am Iranian and I study abroad. My entire family lives in Iran
Today I completely lost contact with them and only through the NetBlocks account did I find out that Iran has entirely shut down the internet!
I created this account today to share my opinion about what is being done to the people in my country
And these awful reactions only made me feel worse!
This level of zero sympathy is disappointing

Though, to be fair, the lockdown can also be said to be *enhancing* public safety by inhibiting the communication of agents provacateur from Israël, USA, etc who are trying to destabilize the place.
