a capitalist democracy is not a democracy at all, is it a coincidence that many EU states are ruled by rich people? In capitalism, only the bourgeoisie has meaningful influence over politics.

I mean the EU just ignored the Rome statute they signed, and allowed a wanted war criminal to use the European air space.

So I am guessing EU is just paying lip service to the rule of law.

Human rights only if it is convenient. Refugees, Palestinians, Uyghurs, etcetera, are on their own. Large companies and the super rich have more rights than the average people.
