What would *you* call this aesthetic?

I'm instantly obsessed. Take a tour of a run-down subway system in cute pastel colors.

"abandoned kitchy-aid"
"lost cupcake"

AW dammit. I thought this was blender work, but it's just generated.

"pastel modernism" maybe? as a concept is kind of neat though, it'd be nice to see this done by human hands.

oooh, i didn't even think about the possible lack of any non-neural-net render pipeline, but now that you mention it...
this hallway (56 seconds in) doesn't seem like it actually "ends" the way a hallway would seem to end in a traditional 3D mesh model.

i would call it sort of Simon Stålenhag

he has the same sort of futuristic yet retro, and cutesy

but he has no focus on subways

the toned down, but friendly and a bit playful colors are like sun bleached toys.

The run down, lack of maintenance is a bit cyberpunk-y but I can't think of a good name for the combination.

the soft, blurry feel of the lighting looks like what you get when you put vaseline on a camera lens (real technique btw)

I can no longer load the video, but I think the channel name was "boltzmann" something-or-other. That was the first giveaway.

I made it so one must copy paste the link since I didn't know it was generated when I posted it, but also didn't want to just delete the post.

So now it won't autoload but people can still look at it if they want to see what we were talking about.
