im amused by their positions

- one steers the boat but can't see where they're going
- a few see where they're going but can't steer the boat
- a few see the person steering the boat but can't see where they're going or steer the boat

without meaningful communication and cooperation, every single one of them would get dead.

The container is labelled "tex" - I guess that's the full #texlive distribution with lots of optional packages including all the font packages?

Try on an STM32MP and you will know what to complain about ๐Ÿคฃ

I've got four Docker containers running Home Assistant with Wireguard and mqtt on a RPi4 comfortably.

I run my KVMs on Intel and AMD machines. Docker really is lightweight IMO.

I didn't now I shouldn't run my entire homlab on a RPi 4 with 8 docker containers...
in reply to Hacker Memes

Been there, done that, a Pi4 can run multiple containers just fine, and Pi5 is even better given 8 to 16GB RAM.
in reply to Hacker Memes

I would have never personally chosen to do that, but Home Assistant OS is made like that, and as long as it works fine I'm okay with that. ๐Ÿคฃ

Possibly contentious opinion: VMs were invented to work-around Operating Systems that couldn't multitask, or Operate. I'm mainly thinking of IBM mainframes, and Microsoft.
