Ich hab sehr viel Festplattenplatz und den einfach hรคndisch mit dd zu klonen dauert jedesmal 3-4 Tage, ist also nicht brauchbar, wenn man eine Glitch-soc-Instanz betreiben will.

I had posted once about the need of some annual action for the promotion of an open source and decentralised Internet. I have found that there was an attempt to introduce the #InternetFreedomDay, held at 18th of January to commemorate the victory in the case of #sopapipa acts in the USA. I think that the #fediverse totally corresponds with the ideas of that day, so it would be good occasion to revive it. What do you think about?

Dopo 3 anni di #Fediverso, รจ il momento di tirare le conclusioni.
Arrivai qui, come molti, dal mondo #Meta; avevo un mio account su #Facebook e uno su #Instagram, dove in realtร , non si faceva altro che โspiareโ il prossimo e i suoi comportamenti.
Non conoscendo ancora nulla di questa realtร (pur avendo un buon bagaglio tecnico, dovuto alla mia professione) approdai su un grande istanza italiana. Effettivamente, la differenza con i โvecchiโ social lโapprezzai subito, infatti dopo pochi giorni li cancellai definitivamente.
Imparai a muovermi qui, a capire alcune dinamiche, che comunque sono, anche qui, presenti, ma in maniera molto minore.
La cosa piรน difficile da capire, allโinizio, fu il concetto di Fediverso e delle varie istanze che lo compongono; credevo che tutto si svolgesse li dove ero, senza comprendere che cโรจ tanto altro da scoprire.
Feci la mia โgavettaโ. Poi arrivรฒ qualche incarico che mi insegnรฒ altro e nel contempo studiavo e imparavo.
Per motivi personali, che improvvisamente mi crollarono addosso, mollai tutto e andai via.
Dopo poco, arrivarono buone notizie e mi ricordai del Fediverso, ma volli provare unโaltra istanza, anche per capire meglio alcune cose.
Ricevetti una bella accoglienza e scoprii che le dimensioni dellโistanza non contavano molto, quasi nulla.
Dopo alcuni mesi, volli cambiare piattaforma, fino a quel momento avevo usato Mastodon, migrai su Misskey. Tutto diverso, esteticamente molto bello, pieno di nuove funzioni e mi piacque subito.
Dopo altri mesi perรฒ, decisi di provare a creare qualcosa, la mia istanza.
Decisi quindi di tornare su Mastodon, piรน โspartanoโ rispetto a Misskey, ma meglio documentato e supportato, almeno per me.
Oggi, ho la mia istanza Mastodon, in hosting, poi ho la mia istanza #Pixelfed in selfhost con il mio server per #Matrix (altra storia). La cosa piรน bella, oltre allโesperienza che mi sono fatto, รจ la gente con cui ho stretto amicizia, impensabile per me nei vecchi social.
Conclusione (giร รจ troppo lungo per i miei gusti), sono contento di tutto ciรฒ che ho passato, ognuno a suo modo, mi ha insegnato qualcosa. Tornare indietro? No grazie, ho trovato la mia dimensione e ci rimango.๐
