I have a bunch of services running on my LAN, mostly from a single Debian machine. I access them at URLs like http://devicename.lan:portnumber. I would like to change to servicename.devicename.lan.
How it works now:
The router (openwrt) sets a static IP per device and the port number is selected by the application or system unit running it.
What is the absolute simplest way to accomplish this? I don't mind if it is managed by the router or by the server machine itself. Hoping for something that can be configured with a text file or web interface or other basic mathod.
These sevices are private, just for me and I have no plans to ever access them externally. I have so far avoided any certificates or SSL or other stuff. I don't use docker and would rather not get into it right now. I like my domain name setup how it is with fake local domains.
Hoping this could be possible without making a whole project out of it.

You know what's more dead than Latin? Peano's Latino Sine Flexione. It died a first time when Latin stopped being taught as a language of scientific exchange and people forgot it, then, his auxlang died a second time over when Lsf got absorbed into Interlingua. All I've got is a broken Stardict Latin dictionary with Chinese definitions, a short list of common idioms, the only LsF dictionary(fixed version) that Peano ever put out(I think?), one Primo Libro de Interlingua. The issue is that the LsF is full of typos(Optical scan issues I think?), so I wrote a new LsF dictionary, with fewer errors. That's it, that's my day, I don't really know how that's going to misc mit Ol' Computator Caerul- Cal-, no wait that's corn.
Never thought I would see the day when the architect of #Britain's demise via #Brexit fearmongering has voluntarily (!!!!) subjected himself to a publicity stunt by-election(!!!!) in which there is now a highly realistic chance he will be defeated by the guy who has built an online following by showing up to every election wearing a garbage can on his head spouting more sense than the other candidates (!!!!!)....
but then again the 21st century has so far been full of surprises.

ENDING FAT INSTABILITY
For the first time in a long, long life, I feel stable.
It is boring sometimes.
There is less drama, less urgency, less emotional weather pretending to be meaning.
But in a million years, I would not go back.
I would not go back to the fat instability of mind and body.
Six years of fasting have made the body lighter.
A year and a half of breathwork has made the mind quiet.
Routine has made the days trustworthy.
There is coffee in hand, a warm fire, Pete nearby, the dogs moving through the morning, and a body that no longer feels like an emergency waiting to happen.
None of this is glamorous.
It is simply a life that no longer needs to keep exploding into illness, falls, and confusion to prove that I am alive.
Sometimes peace is boring.
Good.
Boring is underrated.
