ईडी रेड में सरीन के न्यू चंडीगढ़ स्थित आवास से बरामद शराब की बोतलें आबकारी विभाग को सौंपी गईं। जांच एजेंसी यह पता लगा रही है कि सरकारी अधिकारी को इतनी शराब रखने की जरूरत क्यों थी। एल-50 लाइसेंस की मौजूदगी सवाल उठाती है। क्या यह सिर्फ शौक था या कुछ और? जांच अब इस दिशा में भी आगे बढ़ रही है। दस्तावेजों और डिजिटल साक्ष्यों की गहन पड़ताल जारी है।
भ्रष्टाचार के पुराने मामले
निशांत सरीन पर पहले भी भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप लगे थे। 2019 में बद्दी में तैनाती के दौरान उन्हें हिमाचल पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया था। तब उन पर फार्मा कंपनियों से रिश्वत लेने का आरोप था। 2022 में हरियाणा पुलिस ने सरीन और उनके सहयोगी कोमल खन्ना के खिलाफ जालसाजी का मामला दर्ज किया। यह मामला झेनिया फार्मास्यूटिकल्स में साझेदारी विलेख से जुड़ा था। जांच में और खुलासे की संभावना है।
संपत्ति और लाइसेंस पर सवाल
ईडी रेड ने सरीन की संपत्ति पर भी सवाल उठाए। 40 से ज्यादा बैंक खाते, फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट, और तीन लॉकर बरामद हुए। उनके पास एल-50 लाइसेंस का होना हैरान करता है। शराब कानून विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, यह लाइसेंस बड़े पैमाने पर शराब संग्रह के लिए होता है। जांच एजेंसी इस बात की तह तक जा रही है कि क्या सरीन का आवास पार्टी स्थल था। दस्तावेजों की जांच से और रहस्य खुल सकते हैं।

Successful local Palestinian efforts to organise the entry of aid to northern Gaza have prompted fresh restrictions by the Israeli military and violent looting by criminal gangs.
Relief was brought into north Gaza for the first time in a month on Wednesday by local tribes, drawing anger from Israeli officials and members of the Israeli public.
Northern Gaza has been under full siege since March, when Israel blocked all aid and goods from entering the territory and created a severe hunger crisis.
In late May, the US- and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF), a recently launched and scandal-hit aid group, began distributing limited food parcels at four locations in south and central Gaza.
The northern parts of the Palestinian enclave remain largely cut off from aid distributed through this mechanism. However, Israel has recently allowed a limited number of aid trucks carrying only wheat flour to enter some areas of the north.
According to local reports, the recent Palestinian-led relief delivery, backed by local clans, saw several trucks enter safely and successfully, with their contents distributed on Thursday.

Can the cops get your online data? In short, yes. There are a variety of US federal and state laws which give law enforcement powers to obtain information that you provided to online services. But, there are steps you as a user and/or as a service provider can take to improve online privacy.
Law enforcement demanding access to your private online data goes back to the beginning of the internet. In fact, one of EFF’s first cases, Steve Jackson Games v. Secret Service, exemplified the now all-too-familiar story where unfounded claims about illegal behavior resulted in overbroad seizures of user messages. But it’s not the ’90s anymore, the internet has become an integral part of everyone’s life. Everyone now relies on organizations big and small to steward our data, from huge service providers like Google, Meta, or your ISP, to hobbyists hosting a blog or Mastodon server.
There is no “cloud,” just someone else's computer—and when the cops come knocking on their door, these hosts need to be willing to stand up for privacy, and know how to do so to the fullest extent under the law. These legal limits are also important for users to know, not only to mitigate risks in their security plan when choosing where to share data, but to understand whether these hosts are going to bat for them. Taking action together, service hosts and users can curb law enforcement getting more data than they’re allowed, protecting not just themselves but targeted populations, present and future.
This is distinct from law enforcement’s methods of collecting public data, such as the information now being collected on student visa applicants. Cops may use social media monitoring tools and sock puppet accounts to collect what you share publicly, or even within “private” communities. Police may also obtain the contents of communication in other ways that do not require court authorization, such as monitoring network traffic passively to catch metadata and possibly using advanced tools to partially reveal encrypted information. They can even outright buy information from online data brokers. Unfortunately there are few restrictions or oversight for these practices—something EFF is fighting to change.

Perché sempre più persone lasciano Facebook e X per abbracciare il Fediverso
Se pensi che Internet sia solo Facebook, X (ex Twitter) o Instagram preparati a cambiare idea: esiste un alternativa dove non ti spiano, non ti urlano addosso e non ti sommergono di pubblicità.
1. Perché sempre più persone stanno abbandonando i soliti social?
Ti sei mai chiesto perché sempre più utenti stanno chiudendo i loro profili su Facebook o smettendo di cinguettare (si dice ancora cosi?) su X (ex Twitter)? Non è solo una moda passeggera. C’è una crescente voglia di tornare a un’esperienza online più autentica, meno manipolata da algoritmi e pubblicità. Il Fediverso rappresenta per molti una vera boccata d’aria fresca: niente tracciamenti, niente contenuti sponsorizzati, niente offese gratuite, ma solo persone e comunità. Ma cosa spinge realmente le persone a cambiare?
Basta pubblicità ovunque
Uno dei motivi principali è l’assenza totale di pubblicità. Nei social tradizionali, ogni tuo click, like o commento serve ad alimentare un sistema basato sulla vendita di spazi pubblicitari e dati personali. Nel Fediverso, invece, non esistono sponsor né annunci invasivi. I contenuti che vedi arrivano dalle persone che hai deciso di seguire, senza essere filtrati o nascosti da un algoritmo.
Addio agli algoritmi che ti manipolano
Chi ha usato Facebook o Instagram sa bene cosa significa ritrovarsi in una bolla di contenuti sempre simili. Gli algoritmi scelgono per te cosa vedere, spesso premiando titoli urlati, contenuti estremi, discussioni accese, coinvolgimento istantaneo per farti restare incollato allo schermo. Nel Fediverso tutto questo (al momento) non esiste: i post arrivano in ordine cronologico, come accadeva all’inizio dei social. Sei tu a decidere cosa leggere, chi seguire e cosa ignorare. Il risultato? Più autenticità e meno stress.
Più rispetto per la privacy
Molte persone si stanno rendendo conto che i social tradizionali tracciano ogni loro movimento online. Questo avviene per vendere profili sempre più precisi agli inserzionisti. Il Fediverso, invece, è costruito su tecnologie open source, trasparenti e rispettose dei dati personali. Ogni istanza ha regole chiare, e puoi scegliere a chi affidare i tuoi dati — oppure, se vuoi, puoi persino gestire un server tutto tuo.
Una community più sana
Chi entra nel Fediverso spesso racconta di trovare ambienti più rilassati, meno tossici, dove le interazioni non sono basate sui mi piace o sulla diffusione rapida e incontrollata (viralità forzata), ma su veri scambi tra persone. La qualità dei contenuti conta più della quantità.
Un ambiente più umano (e meno tossico)
Sempre più persone si stanno stufando dei soliti social: troppa pubblicità, troppi contenuti studiati per far litigare o per tenerti incollato allo schermo. Così cominciano a cercare alternative dove si possa respirare un pò. Nel Fediverso non devi inseguire i like o pubblicare qualcosa solo per restare visibile. Le conversazioni sono più autentiche: si parla tra persone, non con un sistema che decide cosa mostrare e a chi. Certo, non è tutto perfetto, ci sono anche lì discussioni e problemi, ma l’atmosfera è più tranquilla e rispettosa. E questo, per molti e almeno per me, fa una grande differenza.
2. Cos’è il Fediverso, spiegato facile
Negli ultimi anni si sente sempre più spesso parlare di Fediverso, specialmente quando si discute di alternative ai grandi social come Facebook, Instagram o X (ex Twitter). Ma cos’è davvero il Fediverso? E perché ne parlano come il futuro dei social network?
Il termine Fediverso è l’unione di due parole: federazione e universo. In pratica, si tratta di un insieme di social network indipendenti ma collegati tra loro. Proprio come le email: tu puoi avere un account su Gmail e scrivere a qualcuno che usa Yahoo o Outlook. Allo stesso modo, nel Fediverso puoi creare un account su una piattaforma come Mastodon (alternativa in stile X) e interagire con persone che usano altre piattaforme come Pixelfed (per le foto, in stile Instagram), PeerTube (per i video, in stile Youtube ) o Friendica (per il social in stile Facebook). Tutti questi social parlano la stessa lingua grazie a un protocollo comune chiamato ActivityPub, ma non serve conoscere questo termine per usarli.
Un social network senza un solo padrone
A differenza dei social tradizionali, dove tutto è gestito da un’unica azienda (come Meta o X Corp), nel Fediverso ogni persona o comunità può creare il proprio server, chiamato istanza, e decidere le regole, i moderatori, i contenuti ammessi e molto altro. Ma la cosa bella è che le istanze non sono isole separate: comunicano tra loro e permettono agli utenti di interagire come se fossero tutti sullo stesso social. Ma, come prima, non serve conoscere questi termini per usarli.
Un’esperienza simile ai social che già conosci
Se vieni da Facebook o Twitter, riconoscerai subito l’ambiente: puoi seguire persone, puoi pubblicare post, commentare, condividere contenuti. Quello che cambia è ciò che c’è dietro le quinte: niente algoritmi che decidono cosa mostrarti, niente pubblicità, niente sorprese nei termini di servizio (che nessuno legge). Solo contenuti da persone reali, in ordine cronologico, in una comunità più piccola e spesso più rispettosa.
3. È simile a Facebook o Twitter?
Una delle domande più frequenti di chi sente parlare per la prima volta del Fediverso è:

La risposta secca è: no. Il Fediverso offre molte delle funzionalità che già conosci dai social tradizionali, ma cambia il modo in cui queste funzionalità vengono gestite, con un approccio più trasparente, decentralizzato e rispettoso degli utenti. In sintesi: è simile a Facebook o X (ex Twitter) ma senza tutte le cose che ti hanno stancato.
Cosa puoi fare nel Fediverso?
In pratica, l’esperienza d’uso è familiare. Se usi una piattaforma come Mastodon (il social più noto del Fediverso), puoi:
pubblicare post (come su X/Twitter),
seguire altri utenti,
ricevere notifiche,
commentare, condividere e mettere “mi piace“.
Su altre piattaforme del Fediverso, come Pixelfed, puoi caricare e visualizzare foto, proprio come su Instagram. Con PeerTube, puoi guardare e condividere video, stile YouTube. Insomma, le azioni sono simili a quelle a cui sei abituato, solo che sono distribuite su più servizi connessi tra loro.
Ma allora cosa cambia davvero?
Nel Fediverso ogni piattaforma (Mastodon, Pixelfed, PeerTube, ecc…) è indipendente ma interoperabile:
non c’è una sola azienda che controlla tutto. Ogni server (detto istanza) ha le sue regole, la sua moderazione e la sua comunità.
non c’è un algoritmo che decide cosa mostrarti. I contenuti ti arrivano in ordine cronologico, senza filtri o priorità arbitrarie.
non sei “bloccato” in una sola piattaforma. Puoi seguire un utente di Pixelfed anche se usi Mastodon. Tutto è interconnesso, come se Facebook, Instagram e Twitter fossero un unico grande ecosistema… ma aperto e libero. Immagina di poter usare un social simile a Twitter (come Mastodon) e vedere i post e le foto di qualcuno che usa un servizio simile a Instagram (come Pixelfed), tutto nella stessa timeline. Tutto senza pubblicità. Tutto senza algoritmo che premia sempre i soliti account.
Social decentralizzato non significa social complicato
Molti pensano che il Fediverso sia difficile da usare perché è decentralizzato. Ma l’interfaccia delle piattaforme è simile a quella dei social tradizionali. Certo, all’inizio c’è da capire che non ti registri su “fediverso.com”, ma su un’istanza specifica (es. mastodon.uno, sociale.network, livellosegreto.it ecc.). Una volta fatto l’accesso, però, l’esperienza è praticamente identica a quella di Twitter o Facebook… solo senza pubblicità, senza algoritmi e con più controllo.
4. È complicato? Devo iscrivermi ovunque?
Una delle principali paure di chi scopre il Fediverso per la prima volta è:
Se ci sono tante piattaforme, devo iscrivermi a tutte per usarlo?
La risposta è: assolutamente no. Anche se il Fediverso è formato da molti social diversi, basta un solo account per accedere a tutto. È come avere una casella email: ne usi una sola, ma puoi scrivere a chiunque. Nel Fediverso funziona allo stesso modo.
Un solo account, tutto il Fediverso
Quando ti iscrivi al Fediverso, scegli una piattaforma (per esempio Mastodon, se vuoi un’esperienza simile a Twitter). All’interno di Mastodon, scegli anche un server (es.: mastodon.uno). Ma non preoccuparti: la scelta del server non ti limita. Da lì potrai comunque:
seguire utenti di altri server Mastodon,
vedere contenuti di Pixelfed (foto),
interagire con video su PeerTube,
leggere post di utenti Friendica o Lemmy (forum stile Reddit).
seguire e commentare le notizie di oltre 1200 editori (es.: @AgenziaAnsa, @ilPost, ecc…) presenti sulla piattaforma sociale Flipboard
seguire e commentare articoli di blog scritti con WordPress che supportano ActivityPub
In pratica, puoi navigare l’intero Fediverso con un solo profilo, come se tutti questi servizi fossero parte di un’unica grande piattaforma. La differenza è che nessuno li controlla tutti.
Come scegliere un server?
Capita spesso di pensare: E se scelgo il server sbagliato? Non esiste una scelta sbagliata. Alcuni server sono più grandi e generici, altri più piccoli e a tema (ambiente, tecnologia, arte, cultura, ecc.). E se un giorno ti trovi male? Nessun problema: puoi trasferire il tuo account e i tuoi follower su un altro server, mantenendo tutto. Una libertà impensabile sui social tradizionali.
L’interfaccia è semplice?
Sì. Le principali piattaforme del Fediverso, come Mastodon o Pixelfed, hanno un’interfaccia pulita e familiare, simile a quelle dei social classici. Non serve essere esperti: ti iscrivi, scegli un nome utente e puoi subito iniziare a postare, seguire persone e leggere contenuti. Inoltre, esistono app ufficiali e non ufficiali per smartphone che rendono l’esperienza ancora più fluida.
5. È gratis? Chi lo paga se non ci sono le pubblicità?
Una domanda più che legittima. Siamo abituati a pensare che i social siano gratis, niente di più sbagliato, in realtà li paghiamo con i nostri dati, la nostra attenzione e l’esposizione costante alla pubblicità. Il Fediverso, invece, è davvero gratuito per l’utente. Ma allora chi lo mantiene? E come fa a sostenersi? Bella domanda.
Chi paga davvero nel Fediverso?
Il Fediverso non è gestito da un’unica azienda multimiliardaria. È una rete di server indipendenti (istanze), ognuno con il suo amministratore, le sue regole e il suo pubblico. Questi server sono spesso mantenuti da:
privati appassionati, come sysadmin, informatici o utenti esperti;
associazioni non profit;
comunità di utenti, che contribuiscono con donazioni volontarie.
Le istanze italiane si sostengono tramite piattaforme come Liberapay, Ko-fi o PayPal. Nei paesi dove la tecnologia libera è sostenuta dal settore pubblico ricevono contributi pubblici o universitari.
Un modello sostenibile
Nel Fediverso non c’è una corsa ai profitti (almeno per adesso), né un consiglio di amministrazione che impone pubblicità per aumentare le entrate. La logica è più simile a quella dell’open source: si contribuisce perché si crede nel progetto, perché si fa parte di una comunità, o semplicemente perché si vuole un’alternativa sana alle Big Tech.
Questo modello non solo funziona, ma permette al Fediverso di restare indipendente, senza pressioni commerciali né compromessi sulla privacy.
6. La mia privacy è davvero al sicuro?
Se c’è una domanda che tanti utenti si pongono passando da Facebook o X (ex Twitter) al Fediverso, è proprio questa:
Ok, niente pubblicità… ma la mia privacy è davvero rispettata?
La risposta è: sì, molto più che nei social tradizionali.

costruire un profilo di te,
mostrarti pubblicità su misura,
e in molti casi, rivendere le informazioni a terze parti.
Nel Fediverso, questo non accade. Nessuna istanza ti mostra pubblicità basate sui tuoi interessi. Nessun algoritmo ti profila. Nessun pixel di tracciamento monitora i tuoi comportamenti per conto di aziende pubblicitarie. Questo è importante.
Ogni server ha regole chiare
Ogni istanza del Fediverso ha una privacy policy pubblica e leggibile, e puoi decidere se accettarla o passare a un altro server più allineato con i tuoi valori. In altre parole: hai il controllo, e puoi informarti facilmente prima di iscriverti.
Nessuna raccolta forzata di dati
Nel Fediverso non sei costretto a fornire nome, cognome, numero di telefono, o altri dati sensibili. Puoi creare un profilo con pseudonimo, usare un’email temporanea, e non subire limitazioni per questo. E soprattutto: non vieni profilato mentre navighi, perché il sistema non ne ha bisogno per funzionare.
E i contenuti che pubblico?
Hai il pieno controllo su chi può vedere i tuoi post. In Mastodon, ad esempio, puoi eliminare ogni contenuto in qualsiasi momento, senza che venga salvato in eterno.
7. Cosa scelgo: Mastodon, Pixelfed, o altro?
Una delle prime domande che ci si pone quando si scopre il Fediverso è:

La buona notizia è che non esiste una scelta giusta, ma tante possibilità diverse, ognuna pensata per un certo tipo di utilizzo.

Mastodon – L’alternativa a X (ex Twitter)
Mastodon è la piattaforma più conosciuta del Fediverso, ed è spesso paragonata a Twitter/X. Ha un’interfaccia simile, con una timeline pubblica, post brevi (chiamati toot), possibilità di seguire utenti, fare boost (equivalente del retweet) e mettere mi piace. Esiste perfino la spunta blù !!

ti interessa discutere di attualità, politica, tecnologia o cultura,
vieni da Twitter/X e vuoi una transizione facile.
Pixelfed – L’alternativa a Instagram
Pixelfed è pensato per chi ama la fotografia e la condivisione visuale. L’interfaccia ricorda molto Instagram, ma con grande attenzione alla privacy: niente tracciamento, niente pubblicità, niente algoritmo.
PeerTube – L’alternativa a YouTube
PeerTube è il progetto open source per la condivisione di video. Ogni istanza ospita i propri contenuti e può federarsi con altre, permettendo di cercare contenuti da tutte le istanze direttamente dal tuo profilo.
Lemmy – L’alternativa a Reddit
Lemmy funziona come un aggregatore di notizie e discussioni, molto simile a Reddit. Ogni community (chiamata sublemmy) ha il suo argomento e le sue regole. È perfetto per scoprire contenuti, fare domande e partecipare a thread tematici.
Altre piattaforme del Fediverso
WriteFreely: per chi scrive blog o racconti (alternativa minimalista a Medium e WordPress).
BookWyrm: per chi legge libri e vuole tenere un diario di lettura (tipo Goodreads).
Funkwhale: per la musica condivisa, anche autoprodotta.
8. Il futuro dei social: più a misura di persona
Negli ultimi anni, qualcosa è cambiato. Sempre più persone iniziano a chiedersi:
È davvero questo il modo in cui voglio stare online?
Scroll infiniti, pubblicità invasive, contenuti tossici, manipolazione dell’informazione. I grandi social sono diventati delle macchine per generare profitto.
E così, lentamente, è nata un’alternativa: il Fediverso. Una rete sociale che non si basa sul controllo, ma sulla collaborazione. Che non vende i tuoi dati, ma li protegge. Che non ti incastra in un algoritmo, ma ti lascia scegliere cosa vedere e con chi parlare.
Il Fediverso è sviluppato da comunità di programmatori, attivisti, moderatori e semplici utenti. È software libero, gestito in modo decentralizzato, senza padrone.

As discussed on the attached patch, it doesn't sound like unified push is a direction we want to go in at the moment.
So i'm going to close the bug, but do appreciate the interesting exploration and discussion it has generated.

hello - thank you for looking into this and submitting this patch stack!
I have asked around a few people internally but unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot of support for the idea of moving to Unified Push.
So I think it would be best to abandon the stack rather than spend more time working on this implementation.

This paper investigates the relationship between a movie's availability on Netflix, the largest video subscription service, and intent to illegally stream the movie. We leverage a contract dispute that caused Epix (a cable network company) to move all its movies from Netflix to Hulu, representing a substantial decrease in the legal streaming availability of these movies. Using a difference-in-differences design, we find that reducing legal streaming access via the removal of Epix movies from Netflix results in a 20% increase in piracy intent relative to movies that remained on Netflix, as measured by Google search volume. This study contributes to the understanding of the substitution between legal streaming services and movie piracy and has implications for content owners deciding what platform to offer their movie on. Same. I've never been much of a tv/movie person in general, but netflix in its prime was fantastic. But nowadays there are like 30 different streaming services, every single one is egregiously priced, and everything has their own exclusive libraries. Hell I'm surprised they're not streaming genAI slop "movies" yet at the rate they're all going (or maybe they already are, who knows). Fuck all of that noise.
Spotify did the same thing for me years ago. Went from a hand-maintained local library to Spotify, held on to that for like 10 years, ditched them at the start of this year when they were overwhelmingly supporting fascists with political donations. Switched to Tidal for a bit since it has higher quality and better artist payouts, but today I'm right back to hosting a local library (which is better than ever these days), buying what I can directly from artists to support them rather than subscription fees.
I just used nginx proxy manager in docker to connect jellyfin, also in docker, to my web domain with default ports in docker and without any port config on the router and it works. It was just set up password for the manager, type in lan ip and docker port, type in web address, save, and it works.
I used cloudflare to direct all xyzsomething.domain.com to my IP but I'm planning to drop cloudflare soon. There was also a setting in cloudflare that had to be turned off to stream.
Bandcamp solves all problems - you buy the CD as before, but digitally, including lossless FLAC, like 90% goes to the artist or their small label instead of Sony or Universal or Spotify, you can download the album or stream it with the app. It's good enough for me that I only store the files for backup and use the app for listening to most of my recent music purchases.
Same story here. Between Netflix and Hulu everything I wanted to watch was available for like $25 a month. Then all the other streaming services started coming out, less and less of what I wanted was available. 40TBs later I'm not subscribed to a single service and everything I want is back in one place. If these services want to act like an al a carte service, then their pricing needs to reflect that. If they had a plan that allowed someone to subscribe to 2-3 shows for $5 a month (but only those shows could be accessed), people would flood their platforms. The problem is the service's greed would take hold and they'd try to find a way to ruin the experience to push people to the higher price plans. They don't get that people don't want 100s of janky shows to watch, they literally are only there for maybe 1 to 2 shows and that's it.
Yep it'd ridiculous they feign to not understand that people can't subscribe to all services. Especially when their prices keep increasing. Netflix at beginning almost eradicated piracy for most people. It proves that problem is not people unwilling to pay... If really they want to offer a better services then all services should unite, you would pay your monthly subscription and based on what you watched each services would get a cut.
That assumes that everyone who pirates would become subscribers if they weren't pirating. In reality, many people still wouldn't pay if they couldn't pirate what they want. Others may sign up for a month, binge watch what they want, then cancel for the rest of the year.
Even if they would otherwise have subscribed, that money will be spent elsewhere in the economy, its potential revenue the streaming companies couldn't secure, it's not a loss to the economy unless it's a foreign user.
Can't see how it can, it's not like if that money isn't spent on entertainment then it's just lost, it's just spent on other goods and services or put in savings that the banks loan out to other people to generate economic activity. Unless people are literally burning the money or exclusively spending it on foreign goods and services it's not costing the economy per se.

That's based on the false assumption that if pirated materials weren't available, people would then be forced to buy them. That's not true, they just don't buy them. If someone has no intention to spend money your content, you aren't losing anything when they find it for free.
Their number also makes no sense if you look at the previous figure "Over 188 million people in the United States use a subscription video streaming service". Average of 10 bucks a month makes 1.8 billion revenue per month, which means the bring in roughly 21.6 billion per year in revenue.... Are they suggesting that MORE people choose piracy over streaming services? That feels like a ludicrous claim. More likely they are estimating the number of "illegal downloads" and assigning the price to buy a digital copy instead... Like if piracy was impossible the people that do it would be buying digital copies instead of signing up for streaming services.
And that is all before you look at your point, that a vast majority of the "illegal downloads" they are likely claiming would have never been sales, they would have just been people that never consumed their media.

Con calma… tanto ora posso scrivere, pure se non con estremo piacere… 🥴
Per prima cosa, quindi, la scatola, che curiosamente non fa piangere, visto che è scritta in italiano corretto (seppur lievemente buffo)… ma certamente lascia con più dubbi di quanti ne riesca mai a fugare: prima quei punti di forza sul fronte, che per qualche motivo sono in inglese mentre il titolo è in italiano… e poi il retro, che passa dallo spacciare il normalissimo meccanismo a membrana come “preciso“, fino ad arrivare a dire che i LED (i 3 dei tasti lock…) “permettono alla tastiera di essere usata in ambienti con poca luce“, come se non fossero degli stupidi puntini verdi in alto a destra (e ovviamente non c’è alcun “effetto luce arcobaleno” come il davanti dice). Però ehi, la tastiera comunque ha un “design accattivante e giovanile” ed è adatta per lavoro, studio e gaming… e infatti per lo svago, che sarebbe la mia macrocategoria, non è ideale. 😩 Poi, però, la tastiera…Nella foto sulla scatola sembrava molto peggio rispetto a com’è davvero… il che è tutto dire, però già fa pensare: in foto sembra molto mutata di colori e sfocata, fatta di un nero tendente al rosso… e vabbè, classico difetto di fotografia e/o di stampa, niente di che. C’è poco da dire, è decente, ma veramente non più di ciò: il travel è medio, la pressione è abbastanza morbida ma da comunque un feedback tattile buono, ma l’incanalatura dei tasti è talmente lieve che nemmeno si sente… ed il fatto che sia 100% è un problema, perché il mio tappetino lungo è corto (vietato ridere per questo ossimoro…), quindi con questa tra le scatole rimane poco spazio per muovere il mouse. Ovviamente i dettagli strani non mancano neanche qui e anzi, c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta: dall’etichetta dietro appiccicata leggermente storta, al retro che è semplicemente bruttissimo per via dell’insolitamente alta quantità di fori sia veri (per le viti o per l’aria) che finti (???), alla plastica lavorata talmente al risparmio che si vedono le linee di stampo davanti, fino al tasto Caps Lock il cui dislivello ha sul lato interno una forma a trapezio. (Edit, dimenticavo di dire: la tastiera è estremamente leggera, decisamente più del normale, il che sicuramente contribuisce a farla sentire cheap… però non si incurva sensibilmente usandola, anche sbattendo i tasti molto forte, a meno di non appoggiarcisi volutamente con forza, quindi è OK) 🤯
Ma ora comunque, ahi ahi, inizia il brutto… il prezzo: 10 euro. Un assoluto rossone per una tastiera che dire normale è dire poco, e che un decennio fa sarebbe costata al massimo sui 6 euro nello stesso tipo di negozio… ma che oggi, ad onor del vero, anche tra Amazon o AliExpress senza sconti, ovunque, si aggira comunque su questa fascia di prezzo. Una tastiera di Hutrade Technology poi, una marca che (come al solito) non ho mai visto, e che credo difficilmente vedrò ancora… pure questo, insomma, è l’ennesimo indicatore di recessione che temevo, ma che nonostante ciò non mi aspettavo di vedere sul serio, francamente. 😤 Per fortuna, ci sono infine altre piccole cose strane che quasi (quasi…) giustificano il prezzo, perché mi danno molto da ridere e scrivere. Innanzitutto, riguardando alla scatola, si legge che sarebbe “Compatibile con…” e a parte che, lo sappiamo, non ha senso specificarlo, perché una tastiera USB standard è compatibile con letteralmente qualsiasi cosa che accetti tastiere… ma poi… “Compatibile con 10/7/Vista/XP” cosa? Windows o Linux? E scusa, Linux 11, 8.1 e 8 non funzionano? E Linux 2000, Me e 9x? Ed MS-Unix, invece??? Però poi boh, dentro la scatola ci sono per giunta dei tondini di cartone, come se si fossero staccati da qualche parte per rivelare dei buchi… ma il problema è che io non vedo un singolo angolo da cui questi sarebbero presumibilmente caduti a scatola chiusa, quindi penso che ci siano finiti dentro dalla catena di montaggio (ma quindi sarebbero solo una parte del totale)… e inoltre la scatola è quel poco più grande della tastiera che basta per farla ballare dentro malamente, a tal punto che i piedini di plastica hanno graffiato la parte più superficiale nei punti in alto… Vabbuono. 😷

Which is why both Republicans and establishment Democrats are so desperate to malign him — because the dirty little secret of American politics is that the actual meaningful choice is between people who will work for the good of the people as a whole and people who will work only for the good of the wealthiest few. And maintaining the status quo requires stopping people from figuring out that virtually all elections come down to just two somewhat different versions of the latter type.

The only difference between them is that Democrats will willify one maginalized group of people, while Republicans wilify a different marginalized group of people to achive the same goal of you being poor and a slave for the corporate overlords.
Democrats openly support Trump fascism when their masters tell them to. They voted to approve his cabinet nominees, they voted to pass his spending bill, they voted to censure their own party members that hurt Trumps feelings, they voted to block Trump impeachment for illegal war. Any time something might hurt their corporate masters they align with the "biggest threat to US democracy Donald Trump" as they kept saying during the campaign and support it.
