How do one get videos from android apps like we do on web using inspect tools ? I am trying to download some videos from an app before my subscription expires.
I believe VLC can open m3u links (playlists). Not sure about m3u8.
As far as downloading videos from an app, good luck with that. Or if you mean using an app (say, to download from a website), you could probably do it with Firefox?
If you have access to a computer, jdownloader2 is super easy to download from most websites.

On desktop windows, I use HLS download plugins in chrome or fireFox to download m3u8 streaming videos or manually find links in network inspect mode.
I want to do same but in the android app. This particular app dont download videos in its private folder but streams it, I tried using PCAPdroid and its mitmproxy addon to inspect but it is crashing , also this procedure is little complicated, i couldnt figure it out, maybe i am doing any mistake, or it doesnt work.

It also brings several downsides. The strong focus on security at all costs means there are no third party app repositories, so if a government entity tells them to take an app down, it's just gone with no repercussions or recourse. Gov tells F-Droid to drop an app and its gone until the dev launches a tor onion repo and then its like nothing happened.
That's unfortunate but at the same time the app store is quite lacking. I want to say its still in test phase but its missing so many basic things to make it functional. No app screenshots that, no app descriptions, not much information at all outside of an install button. Then there is the fact that there isn't many apps in there to begin with.
The benefit of this store was to allow both proprietary and open source apps but without any basic descriptions I find it useless. Its more similar to obtainium but without the flexibility.
I'll be honest, I used this store three months ago, and the most polite compliment I can provide is that it "technically works". It's extremely barebones in its current state. IE the bare minimum for a functional app store is the install button, and that does function. But that's pretty much all the thing it has, at least from a user point of view.

You donโt have to go back that far, just look at digital music. People were trading files on Napster, and the music industry was having a fit. Steve Jobs opened the iTunes Music Store and started selling all files for .99, people started gobbling them up, and piracy went down. Then along came Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc., and most people are happy to pay. Why, because itโs so much easier and convenient than trying to pirate it and get it on your phone/player.
Donโt get me wrong, people still pirate, but the percentage is low compared to what it was before these easy legal options. People will always take the easiest route, legal or illegal.

Theyโve had decades of brain drain because of all the insecurity and corruption. Currently I donโt see that reversing, itโs very ingrained. I hope they find a way of providing better opportunities, demographically itโs a young country so maybe they can make something work for them.
But oof is it gonna be an uphill battle when your government works against you by not supporting education, security, infrastructure.
Yeah, Mexico needs a lot more than tech investment, they need:
functioning law enforcement - bribing officers is very much a thing pretty much everywhere
safe highways - high robbery is very much a thing, and it's highly recommended to hire local drivers who know which roads are safer
crush the cartels
High tech investment needs law and order, and that's not consistent in Mexico. Fix that and maybe people will stop fleeing the country. Education is important too, but the country first needs to be a place foreigners feel comfortable relocating to, because that will be necessary to set up shop.
Have you been to Mexico City or (even more so) Guadalajara since the Pandemic? Multinational techs are investing and building up campuses like crazy. Reminds me of the go-go years of Bangalore in the 2000's.

The war on drugs has been going on for over fifty years with no resolution in sight and not much to show for it except wasted tax payer money. A radically different approach is perhaps warranted.
The US needs to legalize drugs, if they don't, there will continue to be a market and cartels will serve that market. That's not something Mexico can control, so the next best option is to drive them out of Mexico.
I wanted to remind that Mexican cartels grew this powerful by using the war on drug of the USA to target only Colombian cartels, so the USA are partly responsible for their growth

Yeah, countries should realize that brain drain is much more serious issue than is usually portrayed.
But honestly the issues that lead to brain drain are far beyond what one or a few people in power can fix. Itโs usually caused by deep societal issues, things that emerge after little dysfunctions snowball all the way to the large system that is the whole country.
For example, Iโve seen articles like this which in my opinion summarize what is the real issue in Brazilian society. But also one could argue this behavior becomes prevalent because society is already dysfunctional and people normalize the current way of thinking. Itโs really a chicken and egg problem to solve when you look at the whole country scale.
Good for them. They capitalized on car and other manufacturing, so why not chips? Once we get past this senseless personal trade war, it could be profitable to both sides of the border. Given the long lead time for chips, the timing might work out
