Death of a Troll
The last thing I ever thought I would do would be to write more than a few sentences about someone like Charlie Kirk. I have always found him to be a particularly loathsome coward. He had no values, he promoted nothing of real world worth, he helped no one, and he never provided comfort or support especially during times of crisis. He spent his career using rhetorical tricks to avoid good faith conversations, spreading hateful rhetoric, and incompetently defending Republican orthodoxy any time it was obvious even to young conservatives that Republicans were acting against their interests. His last major political move was to encourage his audience to trust the government regarding the Epstein files. There is nothing left of his legacy but his career of petty contempt and apologetics for heinous actions. No one will miss him. He is highly replaceable in all facets and his children have been saved from years of abuse, neglect, and exploitation which having such a miserable person as a father had doomed them to.
Kirk has never been as important as he has been during the last two days. He is now dominating the headlines of the world’s major newspapers. This is to contrast how unimportant he has been for over a decade. He was originally propped up by the Koch brothers as the dominant anti-intellectual voice of the youth, the face of the organization “Turning Point USA.” The purpose of this organization was(is?) to convince college students that intellectual pursuits were worthless because common sense conservatism already had all answers. This was unconvincing to college students but may have encouraged many impressionable young teenagers to avoid critical thinking and embrace conservative orthodoxy. This was the peak of his career. He aged out of his role almost immediately and has been haunting the background of conservative media ever since. He was no longer a collegiate peer offering an alternative to knowledge, but an aging idiot yelling at kids.
His recent Jubliee “debate” is emblematic of his recent status. For the duration of the video, young people make a fool of him one after another while his lack of any kind of wit, charm, or insight leaves him defenseless. His wordplay fails, his points easily dismantled, and his celebration of his own self-perceived victories are met with open disgust. Kirk was powerless and had lost any influence that he once had. He was on the way out.
On September 10, 2025, a sniper used a high-powered rifle to cleanly dispatch Charlie Kirk at an estimated distance of 200 yards before escaping without a trace. For those unfamiliar with firearms it is extraordinarily difficult to hit a person-sized target at all from this distance, and the shot was an extremely precise killing shot. In my opinion it is extremely unlikely that this shooting was anything but the act of a highly trained individual with extensive resources. I do not believe that this was a sudden act of passion, and I do believe it was a planned and coordinated strike.
Why kill Charlie Kirk? Kirk was a conservative D-lister with no power and waning influence. While alive, he was a political liability and go-to punching bag for political commentators. I can’t think of any reason a terrorist group or actor with the skill and resources they had at their disposal would pick Kirk as a target rather than almost anyone else whose death may have set back Trump’s movement. It is somewhat possible that a skilled veteran was personally offended by something Kirk said or did and used their skills to take revenge, but I’ve not seen this amount of professionalism and precision attached to a motive of this nature before.
Donald Trump and Nancy Mace have claimed that this was an assassination performed by agents of the Democrat Party. I can’t think of any way that this would benefit the Democrats. However, I can think of who may believe this obvious lie. I was raised a conservative so I understand that a conservative might believe the egghead democrats would want to kill a simple truth-teller to shut him up and stop him from spreading common sense. The belief that enemies of conservatives are motivated by this is conservative orthodoxy which all conservatives are required to believe as proof of their group membership. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this statement makes sense only to orthodox conservatives and to no one else.
Today is September 11th and the headlines are dominated by Kirk’s shooting and Republican vows for vengeance. It appears that this killing has massively supported Trump’s current agenda by providing another justification to bring the military down on US citizens to protect state power. Whether it is a coincidence or not, Trump and only Trump has benefited from this killing. Considering how quickly momentous events have been forgotten in the last several months, I’m hoping this push to make Kirk an angelic martyr of the Trump movement is forgotten as quickly and Kirk resumes his rightful place in obscurity.

Spyware blasts: Strict liability for abnormally dangerous activities
More than twenty countries have signed on to the nonbinding Pall Mall Process Code of Practice for States since it was launched in April 2025 by the United Kingdom (UK) and France. Its focus is to “tackle the challenges posed by the proliferation and irresponsible use of commercial cyber intrusion capabilities (CCICs).” CCICs encompass a broad array of tools, including spyware—a kind of malicious software that allows “unauthorized remote access to an internet-enabled target device” for surveillance and/or data extraction. One of the pillars of the Code of Practice for States is accountability, under which countries are encouraged to establish or apply national frameworks to regulate the “development, facilitation, purchase, transfer, and use of” spyware.Establishing new domestic frameworks or even analyzing which existing national or international frameworks apply to spyware-related activity will take significant time, likely years. Meanwhile, new instances of spyware abuses against journalists and other human rights defenders continue. It is therefore not surprising that the Code of Practice for States also recommends measures to incentivize responsible activity, encourage the use of export control and licensing frameworks, and provide support for victims. It is on one such measure for victim support that this report focuses: “procedures for those claiming redress as a result of the irresponsible use of CCICs, including ensuring access to effective judicial or non-judicial remedies.” Specifically, this report explores how existing tort law relating to abnormally dangerous activities in the United States and the UK could provide a ground for bringing cases related to spyware abuses.
Tort law allows individuals to take accountability into their own hands, which is especially important when processes to enact binding obligations on actors involved in developing and selling spyware can take years and there is no guarantee they will be successful. However, tort law differs by country and, within the United States, even by state. This makes research difficult and, at a larger scale, inconsistent. Additionally, litigation is very resource intensive both in terms of money and time and governments are typically shielded from civil liability. It is simply not possible for every victim of a spyware abuse to bring a case against the actor(s) responsible. In that sense, it is not recommended to rely exclusively on tort law for accountability, but to use it as a supplementary measure while continuing to pursue parallel efforts at regulation.
With that framing, this report looks at the possibility of bringing cases under strict liability for abnormally dangerous activities in California and the UK. These two jurisdictions were chosen because of the similarities in their legal systems, the fact that civil cases have been brought in California against spyware developers, and since the UK is one of the countries that launched the Pall Mall Process. The author is not aware of any previous cases brought under this theory of liability with respect to spyware. Given the six-factor definition of abnormally dangerous activities in California, the fact that a court decides whether an activity qualifies, and recent developments regarding jurisdiction over foreign defendants and significant damages awards, it could be possible, although still difficult, to bring a case there under this theory related to spyware harms. The development of the same doctrine in the UK, however, cautions against attempting this novel argument there. For UK plaintiffs, more research is needed on alternative grounds under tort.

Checkpoint Britain: the dangers of digital ID and why privacy must be protected.
- At their worst, digital ID systems can enable population-wide surveillance; infringe on civil liberties; monitor, predict or influence individuals’ decisions; identify individuals or groups for targeted interventions; and facilitate the tracking, persecution, or differential treatment of marginalised groups.
- There is little evidence to support the government’s claim that digital ID would deter illegal immigration or employment fraud, and many good reasons to believe that mandatory digital ID would burden law-abiding citizens and businesses.
- No matter what is promised at the outset, once in place, a digital ID system is highly likely to be used beyond its initial stated purposes. The government is already considering proposals that would require digital ID for right-to-work and right-to-rent checks. Other reporting suggests that an option under consideration would expand further into everyday interactions such as voting online, signing contracts, paying bills and shopping.
- There are serious doubts about the government’s ability to run an effective and efficient digital ID scheme and prevent against the system failures and inaccuracies that have plagued the eVisa system. There is also significant doubt about the government’s ability to protect the vast amounts of personal data collected in a digital ID scheme – a point which 63% of respondents polled said they were concerned about.
- Far from being a backwards outlier, the UK is in good company with countries that have inherited its legal systems such as Canada, Australia, and New Zealand in consistently rejecting mandatory ID systems.

Russia ‘deliberately targeted’ Poland’s airspace, Sikorski says. “Last night, Poland’s airspace was breached 19 times by drones manufactured in Russia. The assessment of Polish and NATO air forces is that they did not veer off course, but were deliberately targeted,” Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said in a video statement.
NATO engages Russia for first time ever as Poland downs drones amid mass attack on Ukraine. Poland confirmed downing Russian drones in its airspace during a mass aerial attack on Ukraine overnight on Sept. 10 in what is the first case of a NATO member engaging Moscow’s military assets over its territory during the war.
Belarus expands military infrastructure near Ukraine, may host Russian Oreshnik ballistic missiles. One site south of Minsk is being rebuilt on the grounds of a former Soviet missile base, and analysts believe it could house Oreshnik.
NATO activates Article 4 after Russian drones entered Polish airspace, Warsaw says. Article 4 of the NATO treaty allows member states to request consultations with the allies if they believe their security has been threatened, without triggering a military response.

‘Pure terrorism’ — At least 25 killed in Russian air strike on Ukrainian village during pension payouts. The bombing took place around 11 a.m. while local residents lined up to receive pensions, according to officials. The casualties included local pensioners and employees of Ukrposhta, Ukraine’s national post service, who were delivering the payments.
29 killed, 34 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine over past day. Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 415 Shahed-type attack and decoy drones, 42 cruise missiles, and one Iskander-M ballistic missile overnight.
General Staff: Russia has lost 1,091,000 troops in Ukraine since Feb. 24, 2022. The number includes 990 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day.

Ukraine receives funds from frozen Russian assets under the Group of Seven’s (G7) Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) mechanism. Within the ERA initiative, Ukraine is expected to get $50 billion in loans that will be repaid using future profits from frozen Russian assets.
EU’s von der Leyen floats new Ukraine reparations loan funded by Russian assets. The proposed solution would stop short of confiscating Russian sovereign assets but provide additional funding to Ukraine as it faces Moscow’s ongoing all-out invasion.

Israeli soldier who fought in Gaza commits suicide on his wedding day, exposing army’s deep crisis
An Israeli reserve soldier who took part in the genocide in Gaza committed suicide on Tuesday in his apartment in the central Israeli city of Rehovot, on the very day of his wedding, according to the Hebrew daily Maariv.
The paper reported that the 31-year-old soldier was scheduled to be married that evening but was found dead in his home after taking his own life. Ambulance crews arriving at the scene pronounced him dead, and police said circumstances remain under investigation.
The incident adds to what Israeli media have described as an alarming rise in suicides among army personnel, especially reservists, since October 2023, when Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza.

6 Key Advantages of Running a Small Business
Running a small business offers certain advantages that are not gained in large businesses or established corporations.
The professional patterns of people in this technological era, 2025, are changing a lot. In olden days, most people worked for daily wages, some people did business, and some others went for a traditional 9-to-5 job. In the past few years, most people chose 9-to-5 jobs, and some others chose to do business and daily work. But in today’s digitalized world, a major income source for most people has become a small business.
Not everyone starts a business with the motive of developing a business empire. But everyone aims at developing their business and remaining competitive in the business market. Starting a small business has become a mandatory factor for most people. It is a good point to hear. Being a small business owner has its own advantages as well as disadvantages. Let’s explore it in this blog.
What is a Small Business?
A small business is a work process that is owned by a single person and operates with fewer employees. The income generated here will be low when compared with that of the large-scale businesses. Small businesses usually focus on selling their products and services in local areas rather than doing so internationally.
In a small business, separate employees will not be allocated to do each activity. For example, the small business owner themselves may do the marketing work, invoicing process, accounting process, employee management, and sometimes even the production process.
Key Advantages of Small Business
1. Small Business Offers Customized Solutions
Consider an example. You are going to a large clothing shop to purchase a kurta set. You choose a dress, but you like to make small alterations in its design. But the customization facility is not offered at that shop. At the same time, you approach a small boutique and ask for the same alteration to the kurta set. Immediate alterations are made there as per the request. So, customized solutions can be offered by small businesses.
2. Appreciations for the Work Completed
The number of clients approaching the small business may be fewer, but the feedback shared by each of them gives more strength and energy to continue the business. But large businesses have a huge number of clients, and the appreciations given to them may not have as much effect.
3. Flexibility in Invoicing
Some large businesses' invoicing process will be like travelling through a rocky mountain. They can’t customize their invoices and steadily follow a single rule for the invoicing process. But small businesses can customize their invoices, set their own terms and conditions, etc., using the online invoicing software for small businesses.
4. Focused Precisions
Large businesses usually deal with multiple income streams. So, their focus would be on every field because their aim would be to expand the business even further. But small businesses will have one- or two-income streams, majorly one. So, their focus will be on a single path. So that excellent outcomes can be generated from them.
5. Client Relationship
The factor that takes place mostly in small businesses and rarely in large businesses is the relationship between the clients and the business. As the client’s expectations are clearly communicated and they are fulfilled by the small business, and engaging communication is maintained, a strong relationship will be maintained between the business and the clients.
6. Solo Decision-Making
If you’re running a small business, you’re the boss here, and you can make all the decisions regarding your business. Unlike large businesses, you don’t need to get approval from higher-level authorities for any changes, you don’t need to conduct multiple meetings to decide, etc. You, as a solo person, can make all the decisions.
Running a small business has numerous advantages, but if it does not operate well, it creates a chance to face failure also. Proper management is crucial here to succeed. If you wish to generate revenue, start a small business and become an independent person.

How CAPA Management Software for Manufacturing Industry Strengthens Regulatory Compliance
Transforming Quality Management with CAPA Management Software for Manufacturing Industry
In today’s highly regulated manufacturing landscape, organizations are under constant scrutiny from regulatory authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders. CAPA management software for manufacturing industry has emerged as a critical tool that strengthens quality management processes and ensures compliance. By integrating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) into a unified digital system, manufacturers can systematically identify deviations, investigate root causes, and implement sustainable solutions. This digital approach reduces the risk of non-compliance while reinforcing overall operational efficiency and product quality.
Enhancing Compliance Through Structured CAPA Workflows
A major challenge in manufacturing quality management is maintaining consistency and traceability in CAPA processes. CAPA management software for manufacturing industry addresses this challenge by providing structured workflows that guide quality teams through each step, from deviation reporting to closure. These workflows ensure that investigations are thorough, corrective actions are implemented effectively, and preventive measures are documented. By standardizing CAPA processes, manufacturers can achieve regulatory compliance and demonstrate accountability during audits.
Root Cause Analysis as the Cornerstone of CAPA in Manufacturing
Root cause analysis is at the heart of any effective CAPA system. CAPA management software for manufacturing industry enables organizations to systematically analyze deviations, identify underlying causes, and implement corrective strategies that prevent recurrence. This proactive approach to quality management reduces the likelihood of recurring errors, strengthens operational reliability, and provides auditors with evidence of a controlled and compliant manufacturing environment. By leveraging digital tools, manufacturers gain both efficiency and accuracy in root cause investigations.
Streamlining Corrective Actions Across Global Facilities
In multinational manufacturing organizations, coordinating corrective actions across multiple sites can be complex. CAPA management software for manufacturing industry facilitates global alignment by providing centralized tracking, automated notifications, and progress dashboards. This ensures that corrective actions are executed promptly, responsibilities are clearly assigned, and closure is documented consistently. A centralized approach enhances regulatory readiness by demonstrating that quality issues are addressed uniformly across all facilities.
Preventive Actions to Mitigate Future Risks
Preventive actions are essential for maintaining a proactive quality culture. CAPA management software for manufacturing industry allows quality teams to leverage historical data, trend analysis, and risk assessments to anticipate potential issues. This forward-looking capability transforms reactive quality management into a proactive strategy.
Integration with Broader Quality Management Systems
For maximum effectiveness, CAPA management software must integrate seamlessly with broader QMS platforms. By connecting CAPA workflows to audit management, change control, and document control modules, manufacturers achieve an integrated quality management system that enhances visibility and traceability. This integration allows for real-time reporting, streamlined compliance checks, and cross-functional collaboration, providing a comprehensive view of quality performance and regulatory adherence.
Leveraging Data Analytics for Continuous Improvement
Modern CAPA management software for manufacturing industry is equipped with advanced analytics capabilities. Quality teams can track metrics such as deviation trends, response times, and closure effectiveness to evaluate the impact of corrective and preventive actions. These insights drive continuous improvement initiatives, helping organizations optimize processes, reduce operational risks, and strengthen compliance. Data-driven decision-making ensures that the QMS evolves alongside regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
Fostering a Culture of Accountability and Collaboration
Successful implementation of CAPA management software requires active engagement across all levels of the organization. By providing a centralized platform for reporting, tracking, and communication, the software fosters accountability among quality teams and facilitates collaboration with production, regulatory, and supply chain departments. This cross-functional approach ensures that deviations are addressed promptly, solutions are implemented effectively, and regulatory compliance is consistently maintained across the organization.
Ensuring Audit Readiness with CAPA Management Software
Regulatory audits are a critical component of manufacturing oversight. CAPA management software for manufacturing industry ensures that all corrective and preventive actions are documented, tracked, and verifiable. By maintaining comprehensive records and providing easy access to audit trails, manufacturers can demonstrate compliance with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory requirements.
