The report warns that Trump administration policies risk driving US inequality to new heights, but points out that both Republican and Democratic administrations have exacerbated the US’s growing wealth gap.
Using Federal Reserve data from 1989 to 2022, researchers also calculated that the top 1% of households gained 101 times more wealth than the median household during that time span and 987 times the wealth of a household at the bottom 20th percentile of income. This translated to a gain of $8.35m per household for the top 1% of households, compared with $83,000 for the average household during that 33-year period.

The launch of Path of Exile: Keepers of the Flame over the weekend was one of our smoothest launches ever. Thanks to everyone who logged in to try it out!
Since the initial 3.27.0 patch, we've made seven hotfixes which addressed a variety of bug fixes, crashes, and balance changes to the new Breach mechanic. There are more hotfixes already in the pipeline to address additional bugs and make further balance changes to the new Breach mechanic.
Hive Fortress encounters will soon be receiving some changes to make them easier to complete and less punishing if you fail.
- Ailith will create skills more frequently during Hive Fortress encounters. Note there is a maximum of 6 skill objects active at a time.
- Increased the internal cooldown for which Ailith can be damaged. This cooldown becomes longer the more damage she takes from an individual hit. This should help mitigate Ailith being bursted down in a few seconds.
- Failing a Hive or Hive Fortress encounter will now drop all the loot of the monsters you had killed up to that point. However, you will not gain any Graftblood or Wombgifts.
- Ranged monsters now have to be closer to Ailith in order to attack her.

- Fixed Incursion Breach Rooms incorrectly still being available in Keepers Leagues.
- Fixed Delve rewards not matching what was displayed on the chart.
- Kirac's Vault Pass now awards an Operative's Scouting Report at 40 Map bonus objectives completed, instead of an Otherworldly Scouting Report. This will display incorrectly until another upcoming patch.
- Fixed a bug where monsters trapped in Essences would sometimes not show their world description.
- Fixed an issue preventing players from joining PvP events.
- Fixed a client crash that could occur when changing area.
- Fixed a client crash when linking items to chat from The Market earnings tab.
You will need to restart your client to receive the client fixes in this patch.

I finally deleted 4.288 emails! How many emails do you have or you deleted recently?
I had 4.902 emails from subscribed and unsubscribed websites/services, and I took the chance to delete most of them today. I ended up deleting 4.288 emails, leaving me with 614.
The most emails where from Sobeys, Cineplex, Doctor Who, IMDB and Microsoft, which I unsubscribed for good.
I have 3 emails, a personal, outlook(image) more generic and gmail for spams and deals.
I'm really interested to know how others manage their bulk emails.

in reply to Kami • • •I mean, I understand where you're coming from, they absolutely shouldn't log IPs. BUT, if you're committing crimes or even doing legal things the government doesn't like, it would behoove you to put in the absolute bare minimum of OPSEC at least.
Like, some people know they have STDs and don't warn people and spread them, right? And while the spreader is obviously the problem there, some commonly accepted advice to the victim is "you should have worn a condom anyway." And they should have worn a condom to protect themselves (and also the spreader should be held liable.)
Like the previous example, anyone using any online service (for secrety things) should know to put a VPN condom on before they put their data inside that sexy, slutty server rack. And like how contraceptives were that knowledge needs to be spread.

You can look it up for yourself but the tldr is that the company donates to leftist organizations that promote freedom, privacy, and open source.
They temporarily suspended 2 journalist accounts in order to verify if they were nation state hackers which was flagged by a CERT, which they reinstated.
