I think this is a thoughtful take but perhaps omits the biggest legacy that Facebook alums take away — the culture. The mindset of widespread experimentation on people at scale doesn’t leave room for even the best-intentioned (and usually less-powerful) members of the team to question when a company has crossed ethical boundaries.
