Um, so have any leftist gun people but me thought about the erm, additional unpleasant logistics of trying to legally ban only trans gun ownership? Because half of states require no or even discourage bg checks for buying a gun through private sales. So they would either be requiring trans status to be on ID or something (oh good, labeled minorities...) or we have bathroom bill 2.0 to buy a gun, if you look slightly too femme or masc.
And even if they only do it via the federal NICS checks at shop dealers, it means that there's a comprehensive federal database of trans people.
It is real real bad on a wholllle lot of levels. Even if you don't want to ever touch a gun, this is like either mass data collection on vulnerable people or visible marking on IDs, etc.

Of course Farage and his followers are pretending that none of this happened. That Farage didn't effectively commit treason, or get his arse handed to him in the US Congress.
Similar to how they will no doubt pretend to be huge supporters of the armed forces in the next couple of months, despite the fact they recently announced that they would be willing to fund terrorism by (again this cannot be stressed enough) paying THE ACTUAL FUCKING TALIBAN.
Or how Farage and his followers pretend to care about the safety of women. Despite allowing James McMurdock, a man convicted of violently beating his girlfriend to represent them as an MP.
Or how they allowed Jaymey McIvor to join them after he was expelled by the Tories in Epping, for sending unsolicited dick pics.
McIvor despite this, is Reform's head of Local Government.
The Tories I get to an extent trying to keep up with Reform on extreme rhetoric. They need to stem the bleeding of their membership and stop the defections. Although they might be relieved to be rid of some.
But we desperately need a Labour Party to call this shit out.
Not run in fear, and try to pander to the racist scum that follows Farage, despite the fact those people will never support them.
The Overton window has moved so far to the right that supporting an oppressive, misogynistic regime which preaches war in the name of a deity is no longer political suicide for Farage.
And neither is sending money to the Taliban.
