Die EU-Kommission hat gestern eine Geldstrafe in Höhe von 2,95 Mrd. Euro gegen Google verhängt. Grund dafür sind „missbräuchliche Praktiken” in der Online-Werbung.
Die Strafe wird das Problem jedoch nicht lösen und die Monopolmacht von Google nicht begrenzen.
Allerdings muss der Konzern der Kommission innerhalb von 60 Tagen geeignete Abhilfemaßnahmen vorschlagen.
Die Kommission erinnert selbst daran, dass "nur die Veräußerung eines Teils seiner Dienste durch Google die inhärenten Interessenkonflikte auflösen würde"

Wenn Autofahrt Fahrradfahrer schneiden oder sonstwie behindern, besteht für Fahrradfahrer jedesmal ernste Gefahr für Leib und Leben. Dennoch geben die meisten Autofahrer hinterher Fahrradfahrern die Schuld. Umgekehrt fühlen sie sich zu Gewalt berechtigt.
Ich habe gerade zwei Fälle mit gefährlichen Überholaktionen bei der Staatsanwaltschaft Görlitz laufen, wo ich gespannt darauf warte, ob ein öffentliches Interesse erkannt wird.
Bei dem einen Vorfall gab es mittlerweile sogar eine (m.E.n. haltlose) Gegenanzeige wegen (angeblicher) Nötigung meinerseits. Da lässt sich perfekt vergleichen, wie in deinem Fall letztes Jahr, wo ein öffentliches Interesse vorliegt und wo ggf. nicht.
Es sind meine ersten Fälle bei dieser Staatsanwaltschaft, deshalb bin ich im Moment noch nicht pessimistisch eingestellt.

@Radlerin @holger Das Problem ist, das Gesetz ist aufgrund der Auslegungsvorgaben für die einzelnen Begriffe von der Hürde so hoch angesiedelt, dass es für diese Fälle hier nicht greift.
Das Problem ist z.B. "gefährdet" greift nur, wenn es allein vom Zufall abhängig war, dass nichts schlimmes passiert ist. Sobald man sich durch fahrerisches Können retten kann, ist das meist schon nicht mehr gegeben.
@asltf fahrerisches können ist aber sehr individuell. Dass das hier von einer Fahrradfahrerin abgefangen werden konnte ist richtig. Aber konnte die Frau im Auto das so absehen?
Ich kann mir was aus den Fingern ziehen, wäre aber schon meine zweite Frage. Um nicht Gefahr zu laufen dass sie da filtern weil sie nicht zu viele von einer Person.. Würde einer von euch? @Azetbur ?

2) Straßenverkehrsgefährdung greifen bei ungeschützten Verkehrsteilnehmern zu häufig ins leere, wie kann die Sanktionierung verbessert werden, bevor jemand schwer verletzt werden muss?

@joshix It sounds to me like you should prioritize figuring out ways to apply low-risk patches (like disabling certain releases) to the repository in between cycles. I know I'm "back-seat driving" but this isn't the first time this has happened, and you must know that many users (probably the majority) don't follow you on here.
@neatnit @joshix especially because we are in a lose lose situation: on "regular" Android you cannot downgrade, and if you have an F-Droid build it's impossible to upgrade to a version from upstream even though they already fixed and released it.
@cvtsi2sd @neatnit in this particular case downgrading didn't help me. I think with reproducible builds it would be possible to install a build from upstream directly.

@wortezimmer Right now the goal is for K-9 Mail and Thunderbird to be the same, code-wise. This may change in the future, but for right now they should be the same minus colors and branding.
Is this just happening to me? I have lots of email filters sorting RSS messages into imap folders, with the idea of reading them on my mobile devices.
When the folders turned out empty last night (except for the top level inboxes) my first scare was that Thunderbird had deleted all the messages., but I can still see them on the real Thunderbird on Linux.
I have rebooted my Android devices (Fairphone 5 and Lenovo Tab M11) without success. I have disabled unified inbox too.
Checklist I have used the search function to see if someone else has already submitted the same bug report. I will describe the problem with as much detail as possible. App K-9 Mail App version 12....
to add to that: Switching from #k9mail to #thunderbird is a matter of seconds; Thunderbird can import all accounts and settings from K9 at the press of a few buttons.
