Phew. Usually a release of @novelwriter takes about an hour to complete since almost everything is scripted. This one took 4.5h before everything was ok.
The Qt framework it is built on has been moving SVG features, needed to draw the icons in the app, to separate packages. Adding a dependency for the current release made it uninstallable on older Linux distros like Debian 12 and Ubuntu 24.04. I hade to rewrite the build to take Debian version as an argument. 😅
The MacOS build was also broken in the pre-releases, but I think I've fixed that too. I have no Mac to test on. 🤞
Windows build and AppImage seems fine though, so at least there's that!
Really glad to get this release out the door. I've been working on it for 6 months, with contributions from a couple of others. The app now has 75 colour themes. Many of them are really nice too. 🎨
