Das Barrel kostet mittlerweile unter 60$ und der Euro steht bei fast 1,20$. Die Preise an der Zapfsäule passen aber immer noch zu der Zeit von 85$/Barrel und einem Euro von 1,05$.
Das sind Zahlen, die Sinn machen. Nicht die 2 Cent, die die Preise an der Säule für 3 Tage gesenkt wurden. Aber das interessiert ja wieder keinen...

Dear Congressman,
I am writing to you today to express my support for SB 2838. This bill is about restoring constitutional checks and balances and honoring the Founding Fathers vision of a government accountable to the people, not to any single branch or person. As a proud constituent, I urge you to support this bill. I believe this bill is a crucial measure to restore the Founders’ original vision of limited executive power and a government that operates under the rule of law.
This bill is a necessary structural correction to address the excessive power accumulated by the Presidency over decades, which should concern all who value limited government. It will restore Congress’s exclusive “Power of the Purse” (Article I, Section 9). This prevents any President from unilaterally overriding Congress’s budgetary and legislative decisions, ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent as the legislative branch dictates. Limiting a President’s power to declare an endless “national emergency” is essential to prevent governing by decree, a concept the Founders vehemently opposed.
Accountability is not a liberal or conservative issue but a prerequisite for a trustworthy republic. This law applies equally to all citizens, and it ensures that no President can use the office to run out the clock on potential crimes, reinforcing the principle that “no one is above the law.” Enforcing these clauses is a matter of constitutional fidelity and fiscal discipline. It ensures that the highest office is not a vehicle for personal enrichment or foreign influence, preventing conflicts of interest that undermine national security.
The lack of trust in institutions is a corrosive force on the republic, often fueled by perceptions of double standards and self-dealing in Washington. This bill is an essential step toward draining the swamp by requiring transparency and enforcing clear, uniform ethical standards for all. This will build confidence among skeptical voters that Washington is finally serious about integrity. By introducing an Inspector General into the executive office it creates independent oversight into the executive’s core, ensuring internal accountability. And this bill’s stronger whistleblower protections will support government employees who demonstrate courage and integrity in exposing waste, fraud, and abuse which is a necessary check on government inefficiency.
SB 2338 is a constitutional, pro-accountability bill that serves the long-term health of the republic. I strongly urge you to vote for this bill if it comes to the floor for a vote. And I urge you to help restore the Founders’ vision and increase public trust in our government.

It begs the question how long has Russia been planning and enacting its own Project 2025 to bring down America ? And with it European democracy.
