While what IDF soldiers are doing in Gaza right now is indeed horrible, there are atrocities on similar scales going on right now, and the world still ignores them, because they aren't bloody happening in the bloody Holy Land of the fucking Abrahamitic religions, and they don't involve any significant number of Jews. Why isn't anybody demanding to stop what's happening in Myanmar? Right, no Jews involved, and the land is of no particular importance to any Abrahamitic faith. The base difficulty of the game scales way faster in SS compared to HK.

in reply to Joel • • •Ok so I've been playing #Silksong for almost 12 hours at this point and it's still an absolute blast. The difficulty ramped up quite a bit tho and the currency is pretty hard to obtain.
Still loving it!
Here's a clip with the latest boss I beat, which took me way too many attempts. I was so stressed I paused it, but it ended well!

Thankfully, now the road is clear and I *think* I did everything I can in the areas I have access to, gotta keep playing tomorrow!

in reply to Joel • • •I didn't play that much #Silksong today (I decided to read books for once) but I explored more of Sinner's Road and it's no longer as scary as it seemed to me at first.
I actually went to another place which had a boss fight against two red drills but I didn't feel like fighting this session, so yeah!
I also fulfilled a couple wishes, which was nice

I managed to find two new areas that are very close to Sinner's Road, on both of them I couldn't get the map, I think I need an extra ability later on.
I went back to the Blasted Steps area and defeated the red drills, managed to defeat one and get a new attack!
Now I'm going to face The Last Judge, probably tomorrow tho.

in reply to Gina • • •@Gina hey! Good job! It can definitely be difficult, but if you persevere and learn to enjoy the process, and don't panic or get greedy. If you are patient and don't try to get hit after hit, you'll get through everything!
If you notice my clips I really tend to spend LOTS of time just idle and seeing what happens, I even think "wow that even looks boring lol" but in the moment that itch to "I must attack as much as possible" is something you should ignore, patience is key

in reply to Joel • • •Returned to #Silksong today and I've decided to explore some of the early areas and found lots of hidden rooms with rosaries, mostly, but also a craftmetal somewhere in the Deep Docks, where I also saw an area I could access with my new harpoon powerup! Then promptly died to some annoying flying enemies throwing lava rocks at me.
36 hours of playtime thus far.
