The Issue
It is personal to all of us, as it pertains to the fundamental and universal right of freedom of speech. Every individual should have the confidence to speak out without fear of arrest or unjust treatment. The recent arrest and detention of Graham Linehan raised serious concerns about the integrity of this fundamental freedom in our society.
Graham Linehan, a well-known writer and advocate for free speech, was arrested and detained under circumstances that are both alarming and ambiguous. This petition seeks to uncover who instigated his arrest, who authorised it, and whether there was any involvement from the Home Office or any government entities. Understanding these processes is essential to ensuring such actions do not infringe on our rights or set dangerous precedents.
Since his arrest there has been a debate over free speech, and even the chief of the Met Police has said that his officers are in "an impossible position" when dealing with online statements. That's why I'm calling for a full and thorough investigation into the arrest of the Father Ted creator.

Ja, meine Vorfahren haben als Kinder auch heimlich gelesen (unter der Bettdecke, seit Taschenlampe..) so wie heute heimlich unter der Decke gesurft wird, da das Lesen von Büchern als verderblich galt. Da war zwar wenig klassische Werbung drin, aber "unfluenzten" auch auf ihre Weise.. Später waren Videospiele die große gefahr, die nun in Altenheimen therapeutisch fit halten. 🙃

Gleichzeitig erhalten zwei Spieler der Eislöwen, welche seit 2024 und seit Juli 2025 in Dresden leben, feierlich ihre Staatsbürgerurkunde überreicht.
„Das riecht stark nach Ungleichbehandlung“, findet unsere sportpolitische Sprecherin Jessica Roitzsch und fragt beim Oberbürgermeister nach, was es mit den Express-Einbürgerungen auf sich hat.
