Slowly coming to the conclusion that part of the reason many Americans have embraced anti-science and anti-vaccine beliefs is that healthcare is so expensive.
So there is an attractiveness to the idea of being able to opt out of the healthcare system by eating healthy, consuming supplements and detoxing.

Trying to find a website by the artist that once made the political ideology catgirls comics.
Now I'm looking in my many, many bookmarks, I think this personal website is themed around the author being a game dev, artist and draws scifi type artwork as well too.
The background is purple, dark pink, and light blue with stars on the top and a road on the bottom, a planet as it's favicon.
I seriously wished I wrote down this person's website, and I did see the person's art in their pfp and I think it's the same artist that drew the discontinued Political ideology cat girls comic.
Please let me know of the website's name, I don't know if I have it in my bookmarks anymore.

Got everything set for the watch party in 14 minutes! We have the film on our Plex server, so no foolishness shall interrupt the viewing.
For my #HamRadio tunable elevated radial project, I want to isolate them from the earth and the mast, and I'm not finding an isolating mount that goes into a normal ½" "light stand". So I've come up with this design to build. (Yay, I can't just buy it, so I have an excuse to spend some shop time!)
From 1" 6061 aluminum stock and 1" POM:
- An aluminum stem/spigot that fits the tripod, with a 1" section above. In that section, an M14x1.5 threaded socket.
- A POM threaded bushing; M14x1.5 on the outside, M10x1.5 on the inside, with a 2mm flange on top
- An aluminum piece on top with M10x1.5 screw threads on both end, and six 4mm holes drilled around it to accept 4mm banana/bullet plugs. The M10x1.5 is to match the JPC-12 feed base.
I intend to raise only two radials, but six holes give me a chance to change my mind later, and even with just two they make it easy to line up the holes well enough with where I want the radials to run. (An elevated radial is worth about 8 ground-coupled radials.)
My idea is to machine the POM threads a little over-size, so that the whole thing is hard to screw together and locks together kind of like a nylon locknut. The larger diameter of the aluminum pieces will be knurled to facilitate this. It's meant to be strong enough to hold as much as 30 feet / 10m of loaded vertical, including JPC-12 riser sections, JPC-12 loading coil, and up to 25' whip.
Removed some obviously unnecessary metal from the design to make this lighter before I bother to make this.
It's so hard to sense scale, but this is 25mm OD. The flanges on the bottom are ½". The holes drilled into the side are 4mm to fit 4mm banana/bullet connectors. The yellow layer of insulation between the two metal parts is 2mm thick.
Looking forward to actually making this, so I can take a picture with a banana connector for scale. Maybe a banana too! 😉

Miao... ieri sera, non troppo tardino, alla fine ho fixato lo stato estetico dell'ultimo minimo momento epico, come era necessario e non più di troppo inderogabile... 😳E boh, a livello oggettivo fisico la differenza è relativamente minima rispetto ad un attimo prima, e il risultato rimasto dopo aver pulito e tutto potrebbe essere per certi versi considerato comunque meno wow rispetto a quell'altra volta (ma non del tutto, eh, è solo che lo stile è un po' diverso), però comunque per qualche motivo quella punta di soddisfazione che mancava è stata riempita, e ancora adesso sono a posto, bene così. 👌
Quindi, ecco qui, altre foto con le vibrazioni rosse di poco mancate!!! E lo sto annotando solo ora, perché comunque boh, ieri sera ero in ogni caso a corto di energie magiche per scrivere cosine... dopo questo quindi ho solo cenato, giocato ai giochini, perso tempo su Telegram inavvertitamente o forse no, e poi a letto non troppo tardi (per poi dormire comunque un botto, evb). 🥰Avevo modo, quindi mi ero messa per bene con calma sul lettino in questo caso, anziché in bagno, per questi 10 minutini, cosa che crea un bellissimo contrasto tra il comfy dell'assetto e il dolore dell'azione... contemporaneamente capace di distrarmi dalla sofferenza esistenziale, e di farmi sentire effettivamente reale ed esistente e non un'illusione dei miei stessi sensi, che è incredibile se ci si pensa un po'... 😽

Io ho notato che, come dire... subito dopo i miei bei momenti epici, altri effetti eventuali a parte, finisco sempre per avere come una specie di sorrisino in faccia, che mi dura addirittura per minuti interi... come in un misto di soddisfazione e allegria, non lo so... 🙃
Cioè, oh, questa cosa è assurda, non me la spiego!!! Finisco di aprirmi la pelle e infliggermi dolore e boh, ridacchio... forse un po' inquietante persino per me, lol. 😚L'altra volta che ci ho fatto caso, e ho inviato perciò la mia foto, pensavo fosse un caso, dovuto allo specifico episodio... ma invece no, noto che la cosa è ricorrente. Per esempio, qui grazie al mio 3DS, una foto dell'altra sera (cioè, ne ho fatte varie a raffica, tra l'altro con un'energia che non avevo poco prima, ma questa forse è la più decente) dimostra il wow.
...In effetti, in foto questo sorrisino mi sembra non evidente tanto quanto me lo percepisco io, sia da dentro che allo specchio, però innegabilmente si vede; oggettivamente c'è. 💀
La cosa assurda sul serio, però, è che questo non mi succede mai con niente altro... Cioè, ok, ridacchio tranquillamente di varie cose durante la giornata, ma lì si tratta sempre di secondi... mai di minuti interi in cui mi sento proprio così ahh in seguito ad 1 cosa...
