Open standaarden noodzakelijker dan ooit
Hoe kan dat?
Deze toepassing stagneert, volgens de Monitor, omdat overheidsorganisaties:
- open standaarden, beleid en hulpmiddelen niet kennen,
- open standaarden niet willen vragen, én over de reden daarvoor geen expliciet verantwoording afleggen in het jaarverslag;
- open standaarden niet kunnen toepassen. Bijvoorbeeld omdat ICT te complex is en speciale kennis en kunde vraagt. Of omdat verantwoordelijkheden niet goed belegd zijn binnen een organisatie. Angst voor te weinig aanbiedingen is ook een oorzaak;
- niet moeten, omdat handhaving en toezicht ontbreekt.
Open standaarden toepassen bij aanbestedingen kén wel
Tegelijkertijd blijkt elk jaar weer dat open standaarden toepassen in aanbestedingen zeker wél kan. Ook in de Monitor Open Standaarden van 2025 komen aanbestedingen aan de orde waar dit heel goed gegaan is. Dit jaar gaat dat om aanbestedingen van Rijkswaterstaat, Belastingdienst, Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer, Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken/ Logius, Stichting ICTU, Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, Rijksdienst voor het wegverkeer, gemeente Sittard-Geleen, gemeente Amsterdam en de provincie Noord-Brabant.
Forum Standaardisatie roept op deze goede voorbeelden te volgen. Gebruik bijvoorbeeld de Beslisboom Open Standaarden of raadpleeg vergelijkbare aanbestedingen via de NORA.
Bijdragen aan digitale soevereiniteit
In een tijd waarin digitale soevereiniteit steeds urgenter wordt, is het belangrijk om te weten dat open standaarden daar een essentiële bijdrage aan leveren. De Staatssecretaris informeert de Tweede Kamer daarom over de voortgang via de Monitor Open Standaarden. Op basis op basis van deze uitkomsten doet Forum Standaardisatie aanbevelingen aan bestuurders van het Overheidsbreed Beleidsoverleg Digitale Overheid.

E così la signora, ragazza "padrona di casa" di quella festa danzante di fine anni Sessanta nell'appartamento vicino all'uscita della Galleria degli Scoglietti su Marina San Giuseppe di Ventimiglia, là dove oggi si affaccia il porto turistico, abbina ancora, probabilmente perché presenti a quell'evento, il rampollo dell'illustre - ancor più, "notabile" - famiglia della città di confine e il giovanotto che arrivava da Nervia, da lei già conosciuto allo stabilimento balneare gestito dai genitori.
Furono partecipi anche due fratelli gemelli di Latte, floricoltori, ma ancor più valenti pescatori dilettanti.
Anche il discendente di egregi lombi aveva insieme ai suoi campagne e villa in quella ridente frazione di ponente.
Nessuno di loro conosceva ancora i versi della famosa canzone di Lucio Battisti "E la cantina buia...", ma se non era tale, perché situato al pianterreno, uno stanzone di un lungo edificio adibito a magazzini, a due passi dalla Via Aurelia in Latte, ospitava, intanto, altri pomeriggi danzanti, ai quali per paradosso partecipò con una qualche costanza solo il ragazzo di Nervia.
Quest'ultimo, invero, a breve avrebbe ritrovato in uno di quei depositi i due germani in occasione di riunioni del Partito comunista, mentre avrebbe avuto altre possibilità per non perdere di vista il sodale benestante.
Rievocazioni strampalate, perché solo in minima parte direttamente condivise in un occasionale incontro di qualche sera fa, avvenuto proprio nella citata località, ma la casuale presenza dell'arcobaleno, nunzio involontario dell'incombente notte, oltre che segno di pace, potrebbe avere assunto altri significati ed altre valenze.
Potrebbe essersi aggiunta - sempre in senso metaforico - la vigilanza effettuata dall'alto su quel sito dalle case e dai monumenti della città vecchia ad esercitare una strana malia, per cui le affabulazioni di quel piccolo gruppo di amici e di conoscenti spaziarono su svariati temi, come quelli - con la meravigliata attenzione di chi all'epoca abitava altrove o non era ancora neppure nato - attinenti bambini che a metà anni Cinquanta si ritrovavano spesso per le chiacchiere tipiche di quell'età in uno o nell'altro negozio - guarda caso sempre di qualche genitore o parente di uno di loro - di quel centro storico: sembrava a tutti singolare, comunque, la citazione di una particolare "inaugurazione" compiuta dal monello, che in seguito sarebbe andato ad abitare a Nervia, dell'edicola di Ventimiglia Alta, per la quale sono stati appena celebrati dalla stampa i settant'anni di attività, "inaugurazione" consistente nella libertà concessa da benevoli proprietari di sfogliare - quel particolare cliente non sapeva ancora leggere, in attesa, com'era, di frequentare dalle Suore dell'Orto la "primina" - affascinanti fumetti a strisce, Capitan Miki, Il Grande Blek e così via.
Nessuno in quel momento, forse, fece caso - nonostante il forte vento di maestrale - al fatto se fosse già presente in cielo la luna piena, quella che di sicuro adesso risplende e che qualche giorno prima in forma non ancora compiuta, ed ancor più seminascosta dalle nuvole, riusciva, comunque, a mostrare all'incombere del nuovo dì tutta la bellezza del suo color rame, affacciata sull'arco della vicina Costa Azzurra.

Let's clear this up right away. "China" didn't build shit. Thousands of Chinese workers who work for independent construction contractors did. Contractors who are privately owned businesses. (Note the plurals all along!) The dome was designed by an engineering firm who used the materials research of various structural materials firms, and all of this was governed by an lead construction firm.
Why were none of these named?

For a trivial mall redesign they named the architect and lead construction agency. For a novel engineering project they named ... "the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in Beijing".
This is bizarre!
