Oh, I just remembered, I need to fire up my travel network rig and update the firmware and software. Also, I ran the battery for about 5 hours last night while at the Selectboard meeting, so it needs to be recharged. That took me down to 63% capacity, which is not bad.
Still, if I were making this again, instead of one 25 Ah powerbank, I'd use two smaller ones, since this one powerbank cannot power the two devices and be charged at the same time.

If you're looking for #xkcd comics on the Fedi, my recommendation is @xkcd. It has the comics, the "title text" (the little bonus joke you usually get when hovering with your mouse over the comic), _and_ pretty good alt texts. And the "What If" videos, too.
One thing its alt texts lack is the names of the characters, like "Cueball", "Megan", or "Black Hat". The "Transcript" section on explainxkcd.com/ is slightly better in that regard.

attempted the big scary 4.4 #mastodon update on my personal instance that broke my server last time
it broke it again. but i think i managed to fix the endless redirect loops
i was originally serving http from the mastodon nginx server and reverse proxying Caddy https over the top and for some reason that wasn't working with this new version even though it worked perfectly before
oh well. hi everyone again 👋
Oh and I totally forgot to post how I fixed it. Basically I enabled https on the Mastodon NGINX with self-signed SSL certificates, then added this to my Caddy config:
