Two days ago, I dropped a wildly polarizing post on Lemmy about the Steam Controller being way ahead of its time.
Predictably, it split people into two camps: those who think the Steam Controller is a genius piece of gear, and those who swear it’s basically the spawn of Satan. Almost no one was neutral—everyone had a strong opinion.
For me, it’s not great for games built around traditional controllers. But for keyboard-and-mouse games? It’s a literal game-changer.
I’ve spent countless hours playing Dungeon Siege on my 62” TV with the Steam Controller—something you just can’t pull off with any other controller.
