És ràpid de llegir (56 pàg) però fa bé la seva feina: posar en valor la capacitat humana de col·laborar, de ser empàtic i de tenir cura dels més febles.
L'he "relacionat" amb "Dignos de ser humanos", el llibre que sabeu que m'estic llegint i mira de determinar des del punt de vista científic si els humans per naturalesa som bons o dolents.
He trobat aquest altre relat curt de la Naomi Kritzer, "Better living through Algorithms", que està molt ben trenat. És una història optimista com la del llibre però, què voleu que us digui, necessitem perspectives com aquestes de forma desesperada o ens tornarem bojos. M'agrada com escriu aquesta dona.

Lack of good communications system is causing critical failures in the operation of public entities.
The problems I see in the operations of my town government and politics could be easily addressed with a good groupware system that accommodates both public and private asynchronous discussion with archivability.
Yesterday, @neo and me went to #BeitJala for a joint Palestinian / Jewish vigil for the #forcibly_involved children who keep getting killed in #gaza for reasons no one can explain (although many keep trying to invent reasons and believe in them).
It was refreshing to do this among people who know the truth and share our grief.
