I had that Hammacher Schlemmer minisub, live ladybugs and all sorts of other weird things in it. As far as I know I never got any affiliate money. They eventually canceled my referral program membership.

I know it’s not perfect, but #Mastodon is still proving to be a breath of fresh air for me.
Having ditched FB, Insta, Threads and that place, I thought I’d got rid of anxiety-inducing social media. Bluesky is starting to produce that for me, and in a way, LinkedIn too.

The home server is back to native FreeBSD - the operation required less than 10 minutes - most of them have been used to unplug, take it to the upper floor, replug - unplug it again, take it back to the lower floor, and plug it back in.
