Corn growers are mostly giant corporations and the US grows way too much corn, in astonishingly large monocropped plains. Having a massive surplus of corn means they put it in everything, including petrol, trying to find uses for all of it. Its GMO. Its killing pollinators and butterflies.
Obviously I don't want small hold or organic farms to suffer, but if Trump reduces the acreage of corn and soy, he will help the environment by accident.
@celesteh all true, but the most likely outcome is that it'll be the small independent farmers that go under, and big corps will scoop up their assets further increasing capital concentration at the top.
Also, even if the whole corn industry does need to go away, this isn't going to be a controlled unwinding of it and will lead to a huge economic shock in the US.

I have considered some potential updates with variables for both WCAG and APCA to account for font size/weight variables. Iβm just not sure I want to overcomplicate this.
Even if you visit a WCAG contrast checker website, they donβt show numbers for the 14/18-point breaks. They just note it. So I thought about adding it.

I'm in a newly and shinily renovated #VIRM train in The Netherlands right now. Back in the day when I was still forced to ride the train daily, there'd be a handle on the door, and a physical lock. But of course, that won't do in 2025. It's all controlled with electronics now.
I've sat here watching people struggle to no end. From teens to the elderly.
