Since the videos need to maintain correlation in time, that's neither a shocking, nor even a surprising result. Every mathematician or computer scientist worth their salt could have predicted that. Well, it's likely they did, but were drowned out by the hype.
Well, the headline is worst clickbait: we should not forget that other uses of #AI may show also nonlinear increases and the increase of energy use in AI #datacenters is already climate-killing high. (And that's beside the waste of drinking water.)

MANILA, Philippines – Apart from ghost projects, the country should also be talking about conflict of interest in light of the flood control projects corruption scandal.
Under many laws — including the 1987 Constitution no less — conflict of interest is strictly prohibited. Aside from banning politicians from having other occupations other than their elective positions, the laws also bar them from having direct or indirect financial interests in government contracts.
Unfortunately, the Philippines has several politicians linked to government contractors. Either these officials are contractors themselves, or it’s their family members or allies.

This morning I was talking to a neighbour about him trying to get meaningful employment in South East Cornwall. Yeah, I know, there hardly i s any down this way and Employers seem to think that commuting more than 15 minutes is far too much for anyone to have to do.
Anyway, the conversation turned to Indeed, which is apparently less popular for finding a job than Face Ache, however it is somewhere employers tend to use round here for some unknown reason. I made a few comments then remembered reading something here about Indeed having an Opt Out thing regarding AI using your profile in LLM which would include pretty much all your personal data.
Can anyone point me in the direction of how to disable this once and for all please? It is Indeed specific and probably within the settings somewhere but seems to be buried in a pile of dried moss somewhere.
