I started to read the below naively thinking apple was threatening to pull out of the EU to protect user privacy... Over chat control 🤣🤦♀️
A couple of sentences in and I was helped away from this idealist thinking and shown it was over their monopoly of software app store instead. The article then furnishes and incredible list of apple violating user privacy, especially at the behest of China, which butties this feeble lie in a mountain of their own making.
It also then follows up on the topic of calling their bluff that they obviously won't follow up on with "so what" everyone outside the us needs to get off us tech anyways it's long past time anyone with a straight face could claim it trust worthy.

La flottiglia comprende circa 70 attivisti di oltre 20 nazionalità, età e background diversi, tra cui nove parlamentari eletti da paesi europei e dagli Stati Uniti, che sostengono la richiesta di porre fine al blocco illegale israeliano su Gaza.
Il comitato ha sottolineato in un comunicato stampa che questo passo arriva in un momento in cui l'aggressione israeliana contro la Striscia di Gaza continua da quasi due anni, attraverso bombardamenti, carestia e uccisioni deliberate di bambini e civili, prendendo di mira giornalisti, personale medico e ospedali, e il ripetuto sfollamento di famiglie. Tutto questo avviene nel silenzio globale e con la complicità di governi che continuano ad armare Israele e a proteggerlo dalle sue responsabilità.
Il comitato ha sottolineato che questa nuova ondata è un'estensione delle marce delle navi "Madeleine" e "Handala" e delle decine di imbarcazioni varate dalla Freedom Flotilla Coalition negli ultimi 15 anni, nonché delle navi della "Global Resilience Flotilla", che sono state ripetutamente attaccate in acque internazionali dalle forze di occupazione.
