Morning! Our cleaner is here, it’s lovely to see her as she’s had a horrible health scare which was very traumatic for her and we had a good chat about it. I won’t get much other than emails done this morning as I have to head out to the station in a couple of hours to go to the foodbank.

L'ultima volta che ho avuto un abbonamento TreNord è stato a gennaio 2012, mese in cui terminò il mio stage a Milano. Avevo creato un account sul portale dell'azienda proprio per acquistare questo servizio.
Ora. Questo account esiste ancora. E chi lo sapeva più? Me l'ha ricordato oggi TreNord stessa mandandomi, per la prima volta dal 2012, un'email di avviso lavori su una tratta che forse non è nemmeno quella che usavo all'epoca.
Intanto un plauso a TreNord per aver finalmente intuito, nel 2025, che può usare gli indirizzi mail dei suoi utenti anche per divulgare informazioni utili.
Però: gli account inattivi da oltre 10 anni forse forse potrebbero anche cancellarli previo avviso degli utenti interessati, come fanno tante aziende un po' più serie. No? Ho il sospetto che tenersi indirizzi mail così a lungo in memoria non sia nemmeno tanto GDPR-compliant, ma potrei sbagliarmi.
E infine: almeno funzionasse il link per accedere ed eliminare, ma noooo, ovviamente la pagina non carica. Ora provo a fare da me va'.

Adesso dovrei aver cancellato l'account. Dico "dovrei" perché la procedura è stata talmente surreale che a una certa il wording è diventato quello di "crea account" mentre gli step rimanevano quelli del "recupera password". Quindi non so in effetti se ho cancellato l'account vecchio o creato e immediatamente cancellato un account nuovo.
Immagino lo scoprirò tra altri 10 anni e passa.
