I don't know what possessed me today, but I wrote a little .wav file parser utility on my programming language #badlang and visualize it with raylib.
It's this a sign that my burnout is finally going away? Dunno, but this was a fun little exercise. I forgot how nice it was to write in my little lang, hope I can muster the energy to finish the self-hosting implementation.
A fresh coat of paint for the GUI, including using my favourite font, Iosevka.
Very pleasant to work with this imgui, should probably switch the sample/spectrum drawing to this system, but for now I'm using a hybrid approach.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 gets the One UI 8 update globally!
We are excited to announce that starting from today, global users can now download the One UI 8 update to their Galaxy Tab S8 tablets as Samsung has finally released this exciting version of One UI. Your Galaxy has now become more powerful as One UI 8 brings more powerful features.
This is going to be the last platform update for the tablet series, but One UI 8.5 will make it to your tablet next year. One UI 9.0 or later won’t be released to the Galaxy Tab S8.
The firmware information states:
- Galaxy Tab S8: EYJ4 [EUX, XSG Wi-Fi, EUX, XSG 5G]
- Galaxy Tab S8+: EYJ4 [EUX, XSG Wi-Fi, EUX, XSG 5G]
- Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: EYJ4 [EUX, XSG Wi-Fi, EUX, XSG 5G]
To obtain the update, perform the following steps:
- Open the Settings app
- Navigate to Software Updates
- Tap on Download and Install
- Wait until you see One UI 8 at the top of the page, then tap on Download
- Wait for the download to complete, then tap on Install
After you perform the above steps, your tablet will be running One UI 8 based on Android 16, and you can enjoy its new features and with many improvements on place. This makes sure that your experience gets improved.
If you still didn’t get the update for your device, wait for a few days or a few weeks, then check for updates again. If you still see “Your software is up to date,” this means that the update didn’t reach your region yet.
Note that the update process may take 15 to 20 minutes, and this can vary from device to device. The download process may incur extra charges if you’re using the cellular network as the update size is around 5 GB, depending on the device, so we recommend downloading it through Wi-Fi. Never interrupt the update process in any way, or problems may occur. Make sure that your tablet gets charged before you initiate the installation process.

They all like to showcase their children and grandchildren as evidence of "family values," but all it means is they reproduced. Anyone who GAF what happens to children refuses to use fertility as a substitute for character, but that's what they do. Step parents aren't real parents, adoption doesn't count, people who used IVF don't count, women who had C sections aren't real mothers, on and on. They gatekeep family by physical reproduction because it's the only part they want to understand.
