Von der Leyen e i leader tuonano contro questa “spirale pericolosa tra alleati”, promettendo risposte inflessibili, mentre a Bruxelles sale il fronte per un'autonomia strategica vera: difesa Artico con Canada e Norvegia, sovranità digitale, climatica e militare, usando Davos come alibi perfetto per dire basta al bullo a strisce e stelle. Economicamente è un disastro annunciato: dazi incrociati che gonfiano prezzi, uccidono catene di fornitura e regalano caos ai mercati globali, con la UE pronta a colpire duro sui big tech USA e l'agroexport yankee. Politicamente, Trump ha appena consegnato all'Europa il regalo avvelenato che sognava chiunque voglia più integrazione: “Ecco perché serve l'UE forte”, diranno da Stoccolma a Roma, mentre il suo show da venditore di tappeti usati accelera il declino del multilateralismo che lui finge di odiare ma di cui ha bisogno per i suoi tweet. FTR, all caveats, when you work with peop... INDIVIDUALS... who actually do the type of violent, covert work, which Fleming presents so flamboyantly and cavalier, you DO realize they are deeply broken inside, but the exaggerated mockery is necessary for the typical dense Joe Blow to go "hu huh huh, look at that weirdo" and THAT is the main component of the joke that goes unremarked. Mucho meta, such fish bowl, how fourth wall.
