The white is southern dewberry, a species of flowering plant in the rose family (Rosaceae) native to the southern United States and northern Mexico. The yellow vine is false jessamine. A huge one grew up a tall pine in my childhood backyard, scattering blossoms & sweet perfume. Third pic shows the general landscape around the path.

I finally watched "Sex, Lies, and Videotapes" directed by Soderbergh.
I remember I used to own the VHS too but never managed to watch it.
Well, it was a nice watch in terms of performances and direction, but the film felt dated to me. As in I don't relate to the dynamics of the characters, which reminded me of my parents' generation.
Then I thought that although it's not my reality (luckily) it's still a reality for many.
Also, the world is kinda backwards nowadays. 1/2
@compfu nah it's pretty good in fact. It won Cannes in 1989. It's not a regular Hollywood movie, neither for the direction or the editing or even the plot. But it's still a "regular" film, nothing artsy.
Again, the more I think about it the more I like it in the end, it's just that there are some cliches that rubbed me wrong.

I literally can't stop screaming in my pillow about people who heavily rely on hashtags being dubbed "spam" by overbearing algorithms/moderation that shadowban a group of people broadly and randos with a personal vendetta (regardless whether an algorithm is present on a given social network or not)
when certain users engage in actual deceptive behavior like *checks the trending feed* claiming to give away free laptops/appliances and then not bothering to be transparent and reveal that the offer is restricted to academics living in a specific region (unless users actually click on the link and investigate the fine print further)
No better than actual spammers who post get-rich-quick schemes in the comments to multiple unrelated posts...
