Durante questo evento, l'esercito impone il coprifuoco agli abitanti del villaggio.
Non solo non possono uscire di casa, ma non possono nemmeno guardare fuori dalle finestre.
Mentre sono rinchiusi nelle loro case, il villaggio si trasforma in una passeggiata per soli ebrei. ⬇️2
Gli atti di vandalismo contro le proprietà a Kifl Haris sono una routine, con una finestra rotta qui, graffiti che invocano “Morte agli arabi” spruzzati là e adesivi che proclamano “non c'è futuro in Palestina”.
Da qualche altra parte, alcuni rubinetti dell'acqua sono stati rotti e le porte delle case sono state prese a calci (come riportato da Hagar Shezaf, Haaretz edizione ebraica, 9 maggio).
Questi incidenti sono stati completamente “normalizzati” dall'esercito e dai coloni, e la maggior parte degli israeliani non si rende nemmeno conto di quello sta accadendo, anche se si verifica da anni.
Quando i fedeli rivoltosi se ne vanno, lasciano dietro di sé non solo distruzione, ma anche sporcizia e, soprattutto, abitanti dei villaggi la cui vita viene plasmata in modo inimmaginabile da questi incidenti. ⬇️3
Questi eventi di preghiera a Kifl Haris sono particolarmente orribili, ma sono solo una parte di un fenomeno molto più ampio.
Altri esempi sono le visite di ebrei alla Tomba di Giuseppe a #Nablus, che hanno messo sotto coprifuoco interi quartieri, le visite degli archeologi a villaggi e città palestinesi e le escursioni in tutta la #Cisgiordania, accompagnate dall'esercito su richiesta dei coloni, con lo spostamento di tutti i palestinesi presenti nell'area.
Gli atti di vandalismo a Kifl Haris e le grida “Che il tuo villaggio bruci” scandite dai visitatori nelle strade del villaggio sono quelli che attirano maggiormente l'attenzione. ⬇️4
Tuttavia, non bisogna dimenticare una cosa: anche se non ci sono danni alle proprietà, il fatto stesso che l'esercito metta un intero villaggio sotto coprifuoco perché dà maggiore priorità al diritto degli ebrei di pregare lì è la radice del male.
Il problema sta nel fatto che il diritto al culto di un ebreo prevale sul diritto degli abitanti del villaggio alla sicurezza, alla libertà di movimento e a una vita normale e dignitosa.
Questo è il volto dell'occupazione, che favorisce apertamente un gruppo etnico rispetto all'altro e che accetta come un dato di fatto che ci sia chi ha diritti e chi deve pagare il prezzo di una divisione palesemente basata sull'etnia. ⬇️5
