Food stamps are one of the most cost effective programs ever devised. Not only do you feed people who need it, which is the most pro-life thing I can think of, but the money goes to stores, truck drivers and delivery personnel, and farmers.
For every dollar spent on food stamps, $1.50 to $1.79 in stimulus to the economy is generated.
This is both stupid and cruel.

I wasn’t making a difference in my 9 to 5, but in my head, there were people who were making a difference who would come home and try to relax for a few hours before getting back out there. And in those moments of relaxation, they’d pull up a Polygon guide for 'Persona 5' classroom answers, or a walkthrough on how to get the latest 'Destiny' Exotic. I don’t know if that ever happened, but the thought always made me smile."
