Fuck Eurovision, for that very reason.
The world is full of people who value the status quo of convenient business as usual over human life.
There are many reasons human society is characterised by tragedy, but hypocrisy is a vein that runs through all of them.
And that applies to all of us to one degree or another as we are all part of a corrupt society.
But some things we are dependent on for survival though we'd rather not be. Other things are entertainment.
