One thing I do not miss living in Tennessee, where the deep south and the cool north collide and have wild thunderous gettogethers on a whim, is the constant severe weather, esp the night ones. I can't tell you how many times in the 20 years we lived there that we were involved in a tornado or close call wind storm.
On April 10, 2010, we woke up with a branch of this tree in bed with us.
Miraculously, the main portion missed the house, only scrapping up against the outside and the limb was a ricochet through the window.
