What does your Spotify account say about your music taste?
I was curious – so I built a little app to find out. Using Python, Streamlit and Plotly, I visualised my top tracks, favourite genres and the release years of the songs I listen to most.
What you need:
Access to the Spotify Web API A bit of Pandas for analysis A few lines of code with Plotly Streamlit to build and run the app

Maybe you or somebody you know has a #Windows10 computer, which works perfectly fine, but will lose support on October 14 because it cannot be updated to Windows 11 for hardware support reasons.
Please, do not turn the computer into unnecessary e-waste but keep using it and give it a new life by installing #Linux on it. There are plenty of advantages in doing so, the biggest one being it's waaaayyy cheaper.

I didn’t build some fancy visualizations on it, but my priority was to have all the music I listen to from any device, regardless of the client, scrobbled to Last.FM and then pulled from there on my db where I can do all the offline analysis I want.
