Heute läuft so manches mal wieder nicht so. An so Tagen versuche ich oft, was mit den Händen zu machen, und so freut es mich, dass ich meinem Uher 4000 Report IC Tonbandgerät heute zu einem funktionierenden VU-Meter verhelfen konnte.
(Dafür hat das ältere Report-L nun gar kein VU-Meter mehr, egal.)
Irgendwie macht mich dieses Haptische manchmal fast kribbelig. Man sieht die Spulen sich drehen, man hört die Nebengeräusche, man hat das surreale Gefühl, dass da was passiert, das man verstehen kann. Und alles dauert. Das Spulen, das Aufnehmen, das Einstellen, die Wartung.
(Der Computer steht daneben und kann alles und das viel besser, ein schwarzer Kasten, dennoch irgendwie diffus, unantastbar.)
Wenn's wieder läuft, will ich weiter dieses Pattern am Piano üben, das ich auf Tape neu aufnehmen will, als Effekt für ein Stück.
Vielleicht, so denke ich spontan, ist dieser ganze Tape-Hype auch so eine Art seelische Immunreaktion gegen das Tiktok-Zeitalter.

Trying to imagine the experience of a human arriving here, c.2500 BC, finding an almost perfect circle of 60 stones - some as tall as 4.7m! - and what kind of imprint this sight must have made on them. 畫完了，外面沒有下雨。我下次假日不會出來畫畫了，路易莎非常擁擠，我擠在角落畫畫，如同我擠在住處角落煮飯。但兩者還是有不同的地方：這裡有很多人和我一起擠。儘管聽起來很溫暖，但也就只是聽起來而已，我覺得我還是比較喜歡住處角落。
畫到最後，一直有一種「腦力不夠用」的感覺。這次正好把冊子用到線裝對折的地方，所以畫了跨頁。說到跨頁，在畫之前滑小站，看到了一個嘟友的跨頁創作，實在是很好看：g0v.social/@onechillbreeze/114… 真的很巧，我也畫到了跨頁。
覺得把作品拍醜了，很對不起它。自己滿喜歡這張畫的，拍完以後覺得好像可以修，不過實在是不想重拍一張了，拍照實在太累了，畫畫也是，坐在這裡也是，我真的是，一直很累。看著拍完的圖在想：如果有一隻粉紅色鉛還是橘色鉛就更好了，這是繼藍色以後，第二次想要色鉛筆，不過，要自己去士林的美術社，感覺體力還是不夠。
接下來的行程是去紅蘋果。主要是想要買濾網，用來煮麵，或將食物過冰水。

Tjoahumm, wenn's beim Synthesizer haptisch werden soll, wird's auch teuer.
Also das war ja mein Grund damals, den Roland JD-XA zu kaufen, auch wenn der 50% seiner Kraft immer noch in Menüs verpackt. Aber immerhin mehr so die geheimen Superkräfte als die offensichtlichen. Nur leider ist das ja von der Verarbeitung her eine völlige Schrottgurke.
So schiele ich ab und zu in Richtung Sequential Prophet X, aber der scheint intern nur eine PC-Gurke + Analog-Zeug zu sein und der letzte Neupreis war jenseits von allem. Und so ist es bei den meisten wirklich hochwertigen haptisch bedienbaren Synthesizern… richtig teuer.
Roland ödet ja nur noch an – die haben quasi mit der ZenCore Engine den Über-Digital-Synth gebaut, den sie nun über all ihre neuen Plastikbüchsen verteilen. Und dann wundern sie sich, wenn Billig-Uli mit kantigen Clones an ihnen vorbeiprescht.
