Fediversum das ja eigentlich Fediverse heiรt als Hashtag um mehr Reichweite zu generieren und mit Mastodon und Blog eben um explizit die eigenen folgenden anzusprechen. Also nicht um auszugrenzen aber irgendwie wird es dann doch lieber gesehen wenn nur die die der Leitkultur eben des Mastodon Netzwerkes entsprechen mitreden.
Also mir wรผrden da noch genug Krisenherde einfallen รผber die niemand redet. Genug Politiker die ihren eigenen Weg gehen. Die Eingrenzung auf ein Atomprogramm wo niemand รผber die anderen Staaten redet usw.
Wir sehen das jeden Tag und รผberall, was nicht dem Mainstream entspricht wird verteufelt. Wenn sich dann doch nach einer gewissen Zeit herausstellt, dass da was dran war, dann heiรt es ... na, wie hรคtten wir den wissen kรถnnen.

Naja, man muss ja nicht wie Donald Dumb auftreten um die eigene Meinung zu vertreten.

Vielleicht waren wir vor einigen Jahren tatsรคchlich zu rรผcksichtsvoll, um den Kern des Fediverse zu bewahren. Inzwischen sehe ich mich in genau diesem Toleranzparadoxon gefangen, wie oben markiert: Ich soll akzeptieren, dass Respekt und Rรผcksicht in der Gemeinschaft nur noch eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen soll. Hier wird Gefolgschaft eingefordert. Unterordnung, wie du es ausgedrรผckt hast.
Ohne Respekt und Rรผcksicht geht es aber nicht. Genau das hat das Fediverse immer von Twitter, Facebook und anderen kommerziellen Plattformen unterschieden. Das hat es zu dem angenehmen und netten Ort gemacht.
Bitte helft mir, diese Bedenken zu verstehen. Denn aus meiner Sicht macht doch gerade #Freiwilligkeit das #Fediversum aus: Wir kรถnnen an verschiedensten Orten, mรผssen aber nirgendwo mitmachen. Wenn mich jemand dominieren will, kann ich ausweichen oder auch einfach stummschalten und jenen meine #Aufmerksamkeit schenken, die ich als interessant & dialogisch erlebe. Es ist diese #Freiheit, die ich so schรคtze & auf #Mastodon & #Blogs konkretisiere, ohne andere zu negieren.๐ค๐ค๐
Wollen wir versuchen ein wenig zu reflektieren.
Was du hier siehst, sind eine Reihe von Projekten, die als Zugangssoftware in das Fediverse dienen. Es gibt schรคtzungsweise 150 Projekte, die sich alle mit dem Netzwerk verbunden haben.
Keines der Projekte ist das Fediverse oder kann einen Anspruch darauf erheben das Fediverse zu sein. Sie alle gemeinsam reprรคsentieren und schaffen erst die Infrastruktur, รผber die wir uns hier unterhalten.
Sie teilen ihre Ressourcen, um Daten von einen zum anderen Punkt zu transportieren. Es handelt sich demnach um ein virtuelles Netzwerk, dass nach festgelegten Regeln kommuniziert.
Die verschiedenen Projekte haben sich darรผber hinaus spezialisiert, um unterschiedliche Dienste bereitzustellen. Mastodon versteckt diese Vielfalt vor dir und lasst alles so aussehen, als wรคren wir alle nur das Eine. Dadurch geht dir die Vielfalt verloren, in der du dich bewegst. Allein in diesem Thread haben drei verschiedene Projekte mit dir kommuniziert, ohne dass du das zur Kenntnis genommen hast.
Diese Vielfalt zu verleugnen, ist in etwa so, als wรผrdest du behaupten, es gรคbe nur Mรคnner in Deutschland. Wir beide wissen, dass das nicht stimmt.
Diskussionen finden รผber alle Plattformen statt, nicht nur auf Mastodon oder auf Blogs. Es gibt nur das eine Netzwerk, รผber das wir verbunden sind.
TL;DR Ohne den technischen Hintergrund verstehen zu mรผssen. Die Software die man verwendet um mit Menschen im Fediverse zu kommunizieren legt die verfรผgbaren Funktionen fest. Stichwort Zeichenlimit, Anzahl von Bildern. Und aufgrund des Marketings speziell in Deutschland glauben eben viele das was mรถglich ist legt Mastodon fest. Und eingefleischte Mastodon Jรผnger argumentieren dann eben, naja wenn man lange Texte schreiben will soll man eben einen Blog starten usw. eben ausgrenzen weil man sich nicht an die Regeln der Mastodon Community hรคlt obwohl diese die meisten Instanzen und User stellen.
