We find no evidence of a sizeable negative impact of AI on workers’ well-being and mental health. If anything, there is evidence of an improvement in health status and health satisfaction, which may be explained by the decline in job physical intensity. Overall, our results are consistent with the lack of negative effects of AI on the labor markets.

Iran's judiciary said it executed on Monday a man found guilty of spying for Israel, as fighting between the two countries entered its 11th day.
"Mohammad-Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh was hanged this morning for intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime," the judiciary said, using Iran's term for Israel.
Shayesteh was alleged to have had ties with Mossad, Israel's foreign intelligence agency.

My neighborhood association's summer concert series started up today at Stuyvesant Cove Park on the East River, with weekly concerts of blues, jazz, salsa, and cover bands until early August. I can see and hear these from my window and try to stop by for a few minutes. If those musicians can work in this heat, I can surely sit and listen!
