[Shared]Every day, Chris Judge shares photos of clouds that he has transformed into playful characters. This ongoing project, aptly titled A Daily Cloud, started during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 when Judge was spending more time in the yard with his family. He shared some of these illustrations on his social media and was pleasantly surprised by the feedback he received. Since then, the whimsical idea has continued to grow, sharing “happy cloud art” in people's feeds every day.

I upgraded to NixOS 25.11 (unstable) because I couldn’t check for an upgrade within 25.05 — Podman depended on an outdated version of Electron (34.5.8), which appears to be end-of-life.
I wasn't willing to override the configuration to allow insecure or deprecated software, nor did I want to selectively mix stable and unstable packages. So, I decided it was best to upgrade the entire system.

I honestly do not know, why, Podman was reporting to need Electron.
But I rand this command (see below) and oddly, it turned out to be Podman. 🤷

If you mean Podman Desktop, it didn't depend on Electron 34 since March. Current version uses 36.
And of course you don't need Podman Desktop to use Podman.

Podman Desktop is mostly for Windows and MacOS users that are used to Docker Desktop. It's good to make them feel comfortable.
Annoyed? No — it was an easy fix. If anything, it may be better that I use the next upcoming release. I have been working on something that I have been lacking on time with. Focusing on the next release early will mean I will not need to make changes later.
