2. Religious zealotry (many fundamentalist Christians think their religious competitors, Catholics, Jews, & Muslims, & Hindus are dirt)
3. Indoctrination into White Supremacy
4. Addiction to "The Cruelty is the Point"
5. Payments -- they're rewarded in their in-group with praise & status, plus promoted to higher level jobs inside the fascist bureaucracy

The Mastodon devs have just released version 4.4 so servers on the release branch can now update to it:

Amongst other things it reformats the web interface to make it better on phones (the previous version wasted a lot of space at the side of the screen).
Admins are given more legal options such as setting age limits for their server.
This doesn't yet include fetching complete remote conversations or quote-tooting, but they are due in version 4.5.

Help Kathi, a trans woman living in Oklahoma to flee the state as it's becoming unsafe for her to stay there. She's reaching out for our assistance as her income barely covers her rent, food and other necessities, which has resulted in her living paycheck to paycheck and having little to no savings.
