I do wish the media would report the wider policing context when they report things like hundreds of arrests of people harmlessly holding up pieces of cardboard with 'I support Palestine Action' on them - like the fact that almost all real crime in the UK is left unresolved - detection and charge rates are literally between 1 and 5% for many serious crimes.
