poiché deriva dal latino tardo fùstis (bastone, stessa radice dell'odierno fusto, usato per tronco d'albero o per persona particolarmente prestante), ritengo che la versione più corretta sia io fùstigo, tu fùstighi eccetera, fino all'imperativo fùstiga e all'imperativo riflessivo fùstigati.

l'accento è sulla u nell'indicativo, ma ad esempio nel participio passato si sposta sulla a, non mi pare così strano che si sposti anche nell'imperativo
la mia compagna ti dà ragione, perché fa un parallelismo tra fustigare e castigare... (a questo punto forse dovremmo anche capire perché vengono fuori questi verbi nelle nostre diatribe grammaticali).

I was talking about how I think my autism protected me from some of the worst bits of the society I grew up in.
A friend, who is also from an East Asian background, and also an immigrant from a country with ‘intense economic and social competition that begins before you are born’, like me, asked what it was like.
I was like yeah sure I missed a ton of unwritten social cues, education was hard (they didn’t believe autism was real then), but
Being #ActuallyAutistic also meant I truly didn’t understand why anyone was mad at me.
And when they were mad enough to tell me, I would ask them to explain. Said out loud, many things people were mad at me for were funny.
‘You didn’t like that I.. didn’t wear the right clothes to my cousin’s wedding? I don’t even know him, does he care?’ ‘You’re mad that I told you ‘you too’ when you commented on my weight?’
I genuinely don’t understand how my neurotypical friends survive in that place. Just day after day of relentless achievement and attainment and materialism and status and money and always feeling like you’re not good enough and worrying what people think of you.
Meanwhile, they don’t understand how I have 100 hobbies
People are always like oh isn’t life in San Francisco very stressful, and I’m like um no it’s relaxed in comparison, it’s also cheaper, and
